Hey guys,

So i called D today to check on the status of the alternates list. According to D, there is most movement in the alternate applicants getting into the program around May-June and even up til August. However, at the moment, everything is "stable". I'm under the impression that everyone accepted their spot at this point, and maybe some will drop out later if they get accepted into another program...Just thought I'd share with you guys! I'm in this waiting game with you, and it sucks. I wish there was a golden ticket somewhere for all of us!

Thanks for the update! I appreciate it. It's just a little hard for me to believe that anyone would back out at the moment if they have already given their $500 deposit. That amount of money is no joke.

thanks for the updated information. Maybe I just don't have the best of lucks when it comes to contacting the people in the admissions office. I email them and no one email me back. I'm glad someone gave you an answer and now we are updated. I've been checking my email like crazy, I guess now I can stop.

I emailed DM over a month ago with a list of questions. She never emailed me back. I am incredibly annoyed about it. I guess you have to call to get answers!

I haven't heard of anyone getting accepted this past week nor have I heard anything from them as well.

While the money is no joke! I walked away from a similar deposit to another school when I got into CSULA. You look at the money you are saving in the long run versus a few hundred bucks and its a no-brainer..... Just my input for what it's worth. I think CSULB notifications came out this week so if people were holding out for a more inexpensive option you guys might see some movement again??? Good luck....

Ahh yes that is a good example! Thanks. You just gave me more hope. I didn't think of that since I thought all programs should have let their students in by now.

Lets see if she returns my call this week, if not I might also send her an email. It would be great if she can provide us with at least the number of alternatives that are left, that way we can have an idea of how many people we are going against.
