I didn't see a thread, so I started one.

I am planning on applying this fall for the Direct Entry MSN program. Anyone else?

Ktonic, yeah, I think you might be on to something. All this seems a bit fishy to me.

I still have not heard anything!! I just went through all my email/spam again and I have nothing.......I am at school and feel like I am going to throw up any second, so much for my lunch today. Congrats to everyone on the alternative list!! That is a good first step and foot in the door, its not the best news but at least it is some news. I am more in freak out mode than before now!

I haven't heard anything yet either. I'm at work and haven't been able to concentrate on anything all morning, the work is piling up at my desk!

For those of you who have heard, would you mend letting us know what letter your last name starts with? I'm suspecting that they may be going in alphabetical order and it is seeming like it is only DM that is sending e-mails and it is taking her awhile (probably because people are e-mailing her back right away and she is answering their questions).

@ktonic I had a similar thought only because they are interviewing more people on Thursday so how can they have the final results yet??

I received my alternate at 10:49AM and my last name starts with C!

I got mine at 11:14 AM and my last name starts with H. The e-mails may be taking awhile too since each letter is individualized and isn't a mass e-mail like the interviews were. Hang in there RaminaJulia. Maybe it just means you're still in the running for acceptance!

I do not think they are going in alphabetical order because people out of order heard news a few weeks ago.....there doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to their methods although I am sure there has to be some method!! Maybe they divided us all into groups....like for sure (those people already found out) and for sure no (they found out too) and then all the rest of us......and we are all in the leftover pile and they are going through that pile now and letting people know as they decide....idk. I cannot focus on anything, which is not good. I have two midterms and a 20 minute presentation to prepare for, I cannot take the stress anymore!

Yeah, I don't think they are doing it in alphabetical order either. It's hard to put our head around the thought of waiting but don't stress out too much about it and focus on your midterms! Take a deep breath and relax :) You'll do fine! We'll all still be here waiting even after your midterms so there's no point in over thinking it if you have an exam to study for! I mean for today, and it does appear they are going in alphabetical order. The first person to hear was BeesMama and if I remember correctly her last names starts with A and with what ktonic and dnhumphries have said they are also following that pattern. My last name starts with N so I am still unsure!

and thanks @ktonic, you are very right. It is just so difficult! Checking my email every 2 minutes is not helping though lol

My last name started with M and I received my alternate email at 11:35AM.
