I didn't see a thread, so I started one.

I am planning on applying this fall for the Direct Entry MSN program. Anyone else?

BeesMama congrats! I know its not what you were hoping for but there is still a chance! Definitely better than a rejection.

Yes - came at 10:21 from DM. I'm still kinda shocked. I am grateful that I am an alternate, but it makes the next few months incredibly difficult

Hmmmm interesting. I wonder what that means if I didn't receive anything yet. I didn't get a rejection email but haven't reviewed an alternate spot email either.

It could just mean they still aren't sure? I would assume they can't truly finish with the acceptance/alternate/reject until the interviews are done this week. But that is just my guess! Until you hear something, no news is good news!

Congrats/sorry for the alternate status... I know it's not what we all want to hear. I got waitlisted for Samuel Merrit, but am pretty sure that ship has long since sailed since they have such a small class. It was still really disappointing.

Yeah, I'm entering total freak out mode now. Just have that awful sinking feeling in my stomach. I know it's stupid with everything that's happened and I've been preparing for the worst, but a small part of me was still hoping that we'd be getting good news.

It is kind of seeming like no one is getting in :( I am still waiting to hear but I have a feeling I should expect my alternate spot email soon.
