Western Health Sciences - Direct Entry MSN - Fall 2013

I didn't see a thread, so I started one.

I am planning on applying this fall for the Direct Entry MSN program. Anyone else?

The dreaded 4 o clock hour!!! I am still pretty upset that I have not heard anything....its not been 3 weeks and a day. For being such a prestigious (AND EXPENSIVE) school, you would think that they would hold true to their word and tell use when they said they would....I am not sure I can handle another week of not knowing. On the other hand though, not knowing also means we still have a chance. So maybe I dont want to know yet. Like someone else said, I am going to be rather upset if all this waiting had to happen just for me to hear no. I sure hope you are right beesmama and that if they knew we were for sure a no they would have told us already. This is torture.

I'm just hoping that because of the attitude of the school, they would let us know as soon if we are rejected right away. If that wasn't the case, why let people know sooner than others? I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt. But if by chance you get a rejection later, it doesn't mean they just held onto it and didn't let you know. It just means that you eventually got "outranked" (in my way of thinking).

Since Marisapm said that admissions indicated we would know by the end of the month, I am hoping that we do indeed hear something by then as well.

I don't want anyone to get outranked either - but in my mind - that is what is keeping me sane. If I have given them a process (at least one that makes sense of this whole mess) then it lets me relax a little more. I'm trying to maintain the fact that I am still on the list of accept/alternate. And "No News is Good News" mentality.

I have a feeling is going to happen next week on Wednesday. They are probably waiting on the responses of those that got accepted two weeks ago. Making sure they have made their $500 down payment.

I hope you are right! I am starting to think we won't find out until the end of the month--after everone is done interviewing.

It is excruciating!! I know they are not doing it on purpose, at least I hope not, but everyday that goes by with no word is more and more difficult!! I feel so narotic checking my email every ten minutes! I just keep telling myself that maybe no news is good news. It has become my mantra, it is the only thing that keeps me from going insane! I hope you can all go out and take your minds off of it. Here ( in Northern California) we are having some beautiful weather, so I am going to go for a nice long walk and enjoy the sunshine, I hope you can all do the same :)

Remember, no news may be good news.
