West Coast University Spring 2018 BSN

Hello, I am starting this thread because I don't see any current threads for the 2018 spring start so I thought I'd make one.

I applied to WCU for the spring 2018 and was wait listed at number 5 and was granted acceptance into the BSN program. Everything has been smooth so far except my financial aid officer. Can't say I'm a fan of hers; anyways, I wanted to see if there were any classmates who would be joining me in their GE classes such as critical reasoning, pathophysiology, first year seminar?

It would be nice to make friends through out this 2 year process.

Hey I uploaded documents to the complio account

Do you know how long it takes for them to review it?

Did you get compliant and pick your rotations?

What are the hours like for clinicals and core nursing classes?

b Hi hopefulkim99! Hours for clinicals and nursing classes vary depending on what semester you are in and every year they can possibly change as well. Right now I go to school M, T, W pretty much all day then around week 5 of my semester Ill go to clinicals on TH so ill be doing schoolwork basically as least 4 days a week.

Thank you for responding! Would you say you're able to work during the program?

I tried to respond to your private message but it says you have to clear your inbox out so you can receive it from me. I went to orientation about a week ago and the students who were just getting through first semester told us that there were those who were working full-time, such as would be the case for myself when I start because I'm a PCT and I can't decrease my hours right now. So that gave me relief that there are those who work but I'm sure they have their time management well in place so that they don't get behind.

Sorry about that. I fixed it. Thank you for the info! It would be nice to be able to work and attend school to keep cost low.

If you're determined you'll make it work!!! í ½í¸Š I just transferred to a mother baby floor to relieve stress on my job. I unfortunately failed stats so i won't go in core until January but this gives me more time to prepare and get dibs from those in front of me.

Hi everyone, im about to enter nursing core. Does anyone know how does the schedule go for RN Skills lab? is it 1 times a week for 8 hrs until you enter clinicals on the last few weeks of term? and any tips about it? Thank you :)
