West Coast University Cost

Hi,

I am preparing to meet with a financial aid counselor at the OC campus of West Coast university. I know that my EFC is 0, so I'll qualify for everything financial aid has to offer. I'm also finishing my last couple prerequisite courses this Spring at a local community college so I'll only be paying for nursing core.

I juts want to know if anyone else has been in my situation and been able to attend. My dreams are so close, and I'm scared to have the door slammed in my face because of money.

Any advice would be great. Thank you!

I’m at North Hollywood too! I’ll start clinical in June. The required classes so far have been good. Online learning is wack..but it’s better than going back and fourth to campus when we don’t really need to. So far so good! I’m hella excited. I wish they could’ve shoved all my classes on one term so I can start core in April. But ugh.

That’s awesome! June will be here before you know it, I’m excited for you. 
I still haven’t received my proposed schedule. To my understanding I need to take 3 of their required courses I’m just curious to know when I would start core.

You have to take 4 required classes there ? so they will probably spread it out. Did you do all your prerequisites?

FYS, critical thinking, pathophysiology and GE capstone.

how is your course going?Is there any hidden cost of this program not notified before?Do the professor helpful? How is the clinical setting? Some of my community friends told me not to do the program of WCU.They are telling me after passing from here I will not get a job for this university tag.Please help me out.I have two kid one is newborn ,so I don't want to waste my time.Thanks

I ended up in a different program but I have read about cheating scandals at WCU and the students having issues getting clinical sites and jobs after. Not sure if they have resolved that issue but I'm sure after it happens once it leaves a bad taste for awhile.

Do I know which program u ended up.Im just looking for a good program,but cant pick up my TEAS score more than 84 percent, the lower tution scholl not taking under 90 percent TEAS percentile.I am seeing my dream ending very soon.

I ended up at Stanbridge and it's been incredible so far. However, I did just start my program so who knows if I will feel the same in 3 years LOL.
