i have questions about the bs nursing program at west coast university - orange county
West coast Uni. is 132k without pre-reqs and APU is 126k, many private universities are expensive. West coast has changed, their program is good and I have learned a lot so far. I am studying hard everyday because I know every nursing school do kick students out if they don't reach a certain level. Myself I took all my general edu. classes @ CC & I knock down the price to 85k. My advice to people who want to come to this school is to take pre-reqs @ cc and then transfer.
BE VERY AFRAID of WCU!!!
As an experienced nurse who hears what managers say after an interview, I've heard of these students not being chosen because of the rumor that they have a very "hands off" program.
That is a sh*t ton of debt to accrue in this economy when people graduating from programs with much better reputations can't find jobs.
I am applying to several csu's and in the log run I see that as the better route. I will save money, get a better education and not have to worry about getting a job. WCU has a reputation for running a shady operation and that is not something I would suggest my friends or family to be associated with. Unless you have "connections" with human resources or whoever hires, expect a little trouble when applying.
Okay, I am not lying to myself, it took me 3 years deciding to go there so trust me, I know the risks. I just said there won't be "extreme prejudice". If there is, then I guess I will deal with it then. WCU has come a long way since I first visited the campus before they ever had their CCNE. You chose your path and I chose mine and I am very happy with where I am at. No need to drag this on.

Deny the fact go ahead. Not arguing just pointing out the blatant truth which is unfortunate for you guys.
