Were you a bully in high school?

I was scrolling on Reddit and one question that came up was, “What are your high school bullies doing now?”. Interestingly many said that their hs bullies are now nurses. Do you think the nursing profession attracts former bullies? How many of you were bullies in high school?

I was bullied.  I had excellent math skills, which made me nerdy.  I also am a big girl.  My junior and senior years not so much.

I am sorry to hear that. I wonder why people are bullied over having skills which are so useful to society, and about their weight. Maybe jealousy about the math skills? Maybe insecurity leads people to make fun of others as to take the focus off them? IDK. The more I try to understand people the more I don't! I've never been a bully and luckily never been bullied, but definitely saw severe bullying of others in middle school and high school, even of teachers! High school girls can be pretty ruthless.

My grandmother went to her 50th high school reunion a loooong time ago (she died in 2016 at 95 years of ago). She said all the previously fat kids were skinny and the ones that were skinny were fat. Karma comes back around. Most middle schoolers could possibly pass as being inhuman with their behavior. High schoolers who are catty are usually hiding from some of their own demons. Now, some of the teachers I’ve actually seen participate in bullying a student-now that should be criminal.
