whats the difference between lpn and rn boards apart from management and delegation?

NCLEX-RN is geared more towards critical thinking, disease processes, etc (from what I've been told) NCLEX-PN is geared more towards things like what would you do first, knowledge about nursing skills, etc. This is just what I've been told as far as what the major differences are.

The test plans for the two exams are available at www.ncsbn.org.
Just a suggestion: If you're having trouble getting responses, a strong title (like 'Difference Between NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN') is even more important. The title of this thread makes it look like you're someone who failed an attempt at the NCLEX - something that many of our members may be tired of reading.
Point taken thank you. I would like to know the difference however i did fail again.
Its true i should probably have created a better title for this question.
sorry...
To EricEnfermero,
I looked up ncsbn.org and it seems like the two exams have basically the same topics, generally, but differ as far as the percentage of the topics on the exams.
I'm sure the rn exam is more in depth too.

The RN exam goes much more into assessment and delegation. Which patient that you would see first, etc.
The PN exam requires a different preparation, that is why there is a separate review book for that exam.
thank you for the reply back, however i have an rn review book and an lpn review book and they basically say the same thing except for the ivf questions and management questions.
If I am wrong please let me know.
