Hey Future RN's & LPN's,

I haven't seen a group established for us!!! I wish everyone much success on their exam! For me I will be taking it for a 2nd time!! Please leave prayers, advice and words of encouragement to everyone in this group!:heartbeat

Just wanted to know that those who are testing this week are in my thoughts and prayers. CONGRATS!! to everyone who took it and passed last week including Suzanne's friend. My day is Friday at 1:30 :-) All weekend I've been so down and depressed and telling myself to just plan on not passing....and I realized how afraid I am of failure. I was top of my class so everyone is looking at me to pass the first time...but this is no ordinary test!! SO MANY wonderful nurses did not pass the first time!!!! But I had a good talk with my fiance and I WILL pass :-) I have to change my attitude!! I will pass and I will need God's help to get thru this week. I need confidence so that I can go into that test center and sit at that computer and NOT be nervous so that my thoughts are clear. (That is also what I'm afraid of---If i study, study study and my nerves get the best of me and I can't concentrate or remember ANYTHING...oh what a nightmare!) But I'm gonna pass right? I've got this!!! So off I go to the library once again except with a good attitude :up:

Bluebird you can do this. My biggest issue was fear of failure. My biggest difference this time for was my faith and belief in myself. The first time I went in to the test saying im going to fail. Theres no way im going to pass. I even went as far to find out how long I would have to wait to retest, before I had even taken it. This time I went in there and I said "Im going to be an RN by the end of the day" My nerves started the first minute or two and then I just let it go. The fear the anxiety just disappeared. You can do this I know you can. Have faith. Im praying for you!

I know how you are feeling today my nerves are a little bit jumpy but I think its different now because I have an "I can do this" attitude. We will all get through this together, I test on Wednesday so I will be praying for us all this week to do well and pass this wonderful test :yeah::heartbeat Hang in there keep your head in the game for just a little longer WE GOT THIS ....NOW LETS DO IT WOOHOOO :typing:w00t::hgu::anpom:

thank you giving up 2009 for the great support, encouragement and mostly d prayers - congratulations to u - I'll follow youre advice to stay calm , pray and jsut do my best - my prayers to all who are still taking - we can do this!!

HI greedy1972 mine is tuesday tomorrow - My support and prayers to you too - lets believe on the gifts given to us and w/ God's assistance be alright - I'm trying to calm down my nerve and just read a few topics on my books rather than test questions! to makes me feel better just at d end of the day by the evening I'll clear my head and be positive, focus and take my time no matter what - we all can do this!! good luck to everyone! my prayers to you too!! we're all going to be fine thanks for all the support and prayers of everybody!!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL MY FELLOW TESTERS my day is tomorrow so today a little review of meds and labs and some notes then maybe clean my house heheh I am VERY nervous since this is my second step into fate. I can feel it is different, but I am still nervous any way just wanted to tell you all I will be here praying for all testing today.

Hello to everyone here! I've been "lurking" this thread all month long--but have been to busy doing my review questions to join in. I just took the NCLEX-RN this morning at 8 a.m...and felt TERRIBLE about it. The minute I got home, I pulled out my review book, and looked up about 10 questions that I could remember on the exam, and saw that I got them wrong on the exam :( The screen went off at 75 questions. I have since done the infamous "Pearson Vue" trick, and got the pop-up stating I need to contact a board member as I have recently scheduled the exam (the "good" pop-up everyone talks about :) ) So I guess I'll have to wait and see. Just curious--did anyone else look up questions they remembered when they got home from the exam and find they missed quite a few of them as well?!?! Or am I really that pitiful? :( Thanks for the support. Congratulations to all those who passed this month, and good luck to those still left to take their exams tomorrow! I find out at 8 a.m. on Thursday morning!
