thank u - kinda feeling nervous thinking about it - might help calm d nerves otherwise try again there's always a right time 4 everything as things meant 2 happen it will find its way w/ ease, if u keep pushing things as not time yet there will be resistance hope my time has come according to God's will, I did my best the rest I lay on his hands we all do - I pray for everybody we all work hard and dedicate our time w/ our hearts and I knwo God can see and knows that - Good luck and god bless to all - you guys are great appreciate all the support thank you!!

Sorry that I have not been around. Been very busy and now sick as hell. I hate it, my head hurts and on top of everything I am teaching about swineflu, while I stand before them and sneeze non stop lol. I have a busy day tomorrow again and doing the countdown for my leaving for my training. I did get badly drunk last weekend lol.

Greedy, so glad its over for you and of course I want to know if you passed, though I am confident that you did! I cant wait to hear your results and I wish you would do the trick already lol.

Good luck to those who are testing this week and my lord...September is now over!!!! OMG we did so great this September!!! I just realized that we got all of them through with greedy's results still pending, but now I know she passed, because all eyes are on her to make our September group proud ( gives her more anxiety lol)

congrats to those who pass. i just received my license now in mail. and now im busy practicing driving just pass the written test, and practicing for the actual written test. and looking for the job , its difficult to apply outside our city bec. im afraid to drive in freeway.

I thought the same thing about my nursing school when they made us take the Kaplan course in our last semester of school, but it actually helped A LOT. We also had to pay for the course out of pocket! Our nursing school really prepared us for this exam. I would go ahead and take advantage of the Kaplan course (Question trainers, qbank questions). All I did to prepare for the NCLEX-RN was practice Kaplan and Exam Cram questions and read the rationales whether I got them right or wrong. I didn't go over any content. I would also not take the exam unless you know you are really ready. Good luck!

Everybody feels the way you do after Nursing school. Nobody is in the mood anymore to study once school is done. However, why gamble and take the chance to be lazy and not study and then fail to end up studying more and waiting even longer. If you have not completed Kaplan yet and you do not know where you stand I also would tell you to do the course. It will help you immensely. We had to take a Hesi Exit Exam which was absolute horror and I wished our school would have done Kaplan instead, but I ended up paying it for myself and took it after Nursing school and passed with 75 questions. Dont take a chance and later on you wished you had taken a few weeks out to study. Just take two hours a day or three and that is not really that much. Questions will take you about an hour and review will as well. That is how I did it and I did not feel overwhelmed with studying.

Thank you so much blubird I did take a nap boy did I need that and so far im going to wait till friday and enjoy not having to study and not worry about any of it My best advise is to definately calm the nerves the best you can and think positive and pray I will be thinking of you and praying for you on friday especially around 1:00 it may not be september on friday but you are still part of the September group. keep going YOU GOT THIS

Thanks Greedy!!!!!!! I am surprisingly calm this morning. This week has flown by. I say, "Tomorrow I'm taking the NCLEX" outloud and i don't believe myself ;-) I double checked my appointment date and time and everything!!! My plan today is to go to the library as usually and study my usual 9:30-3:30 and then go home and review labs. But no studying before bed for me!! I am going to bed as early as possible so if i have trouble sleeping i'll still get all my hours in. Tomorrow at this time I'll be leaving for the train station!! Debating if I should bring study materials on the train or not.....I've got about an hour ride....hmmm.....

Oh and YESTERDAY---my goodness I was a wreck!! And oh so absentminded!!! I left the sink running and the drained plugged while I was in the shower and flooded the bathroom and it leaked through the downstairs into the kitchen....i called wrong numbers twice.....and i went to bed crying because I felt like I didn't know anything!! :banghead: But today I feel better and I admit I have a one track mind when it comes to this test---So bring on the NCLEX and the word PASS :up: and then I can put myself back together!! Wahoo!!!

GOOD LUCK to those testing today, October 1, and to those yet awaiting results!! I'm SO PROUD of our %100 September group!! :yeah: :yeah:

take care of urself susannecollins13 thats no fun being sick just ok 2 help d sick makes sure u get all d rest u can n bounce back again k take care- i'm nervous 2 do d pvc trick my hearts seems pounding like crazy oh well well see hope i passed it was so hard d calculations just out of this world i rest it in god's hands now as things happen 4 a reason thi scld be right time 4 me and d rest of us who study, work and pray so hard!! good luck and god bless!!

u'll be fine easier said than done 2 b calm yet unknowingly we felt that way - just pray n that will help you clam n stay focus no matter how hard it is, I pray b4, during n after best of all luck we all praying and supporting you - take care!!
