I did not see any thread on November 2009 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test first time. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.
Join the excellent group!!:hrns&wlcm:
Good luck to everybody testing in November.
Here is the plan and we have a month.
Finish the NCBSN online NCLEX review
Do the whole Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the Pharmacology Success book (over 1000 questions)
Do the Med-surgical Success Book (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.
"Holy Spirit,
Thou make me see everything
and show me the way to reach my ideal.
You who will give the divine gift
to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me
and who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything
and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You
no matter how great the material desire may be.
I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen

should i focus on any ecg strips. i'm aware they do show up on boards. did you get any of them? may i ask how you studied for the infection controlthey do show up, v-tach, brady, v-flutter, i did not get any but my friend did. infection control who to room in with, they are focusing alot on resp/influenza. i live here in california, i took a private nclex review, the first one was for my lvn and now took rn. thats how i was able to pass both, trust me this review is the amazing.
http://www.lifesaversnursingreview.com/aboutus.htm here's the link!! it cost $425.00 rn lvn 300.00 they are located in california, if you live out of state. it might be worth the effort. if you have a group of 3 or more they take 25.00 off.
lifesavers seminar is the absolute best review.its worth the money if yu just study the book plus exam cram you will be ok.took my boards exactly 3 weeks after the course as they recommended..you won't fall asleep..just in case they provide tons of candy goodluck.
Good morning to you all. I've got a week left and I'm nervous! I do wish all those taking it this month good luck! I feel like I still got a lot to do, but I will just take it a day at a time. I should have been done with everything but I'm not. Contemplating to postpone, but I don't want to. I'm determined to finish my task before my exam next week. I really do feel I can do it this time around, but I'm scared (like all of us are or were).
By the way, for anyone..do you have any special studying material or any acronyms to study what type of precaution certain diseases fall into? I'm having some difficulty trying to categorize them.
Also, any advices on Psych material that you felt was important to focus on? They are all important, but for those who took the nclex recently may have a different opinion.
Thanks to you all,
wcuisme

OH I see okay. I reside in cali. Torrance to be exact. STudying for RN boards! hmm I'd love to do the review you're offering but money is a big issue! Don't have it.heheh. But for sure, I will go over the ECG. Yeah I took my boards last time, thought it was fairly okay, but still no go. Went all the way to 265.
