I did not see any thread on November 2009 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test first time. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.

Here is the plan and we have a month.
Finish the NCBSN online NCLEX review
Do the whole Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the Pharmacology Success book (over 1000 questions)
Do the Med-surgical Success Book (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.

What do you mean that the ca bon is at nov 2? Are you talking about giving out results or updating the licence verification page?

I meant i called the boards and they are only on november 2nd results for pn.i took my test this past friday so i'm just playin the waiting game.kinda relieved from the pvt.i got the famous pop up so stay calm this will be over soon.
i just took my test sat nov 14th, please make sure your school sent all complete info to the boards. our school so messed up, guess what? they will not release any info regardless if we passed or failed. so you can imagine the frenzy that caused us grad students. i hate our old school. i heard they do post kind of quick in 3 days, my girl friend from the last graduating class, had her results in 3 days. at least you don't have to wait months for your results. i leave here in cali.

Hi everyone I just finish the EXAMCRAM Simulated exam and I got all the categories above average (all yellows) Is that a good sign do you think i will pass the first time NCLEX-RN with this score. red is poor, orange is next step, green is average to pass and yellow is above average and blue is excellent. Did anyone took this exam before and Pass the real exam with this kind of score i am so scared to take this board it is stressful
Hi everyone this is REX3838, I PASSED MY RN. I AM SO BEYOND HAPPY. I guess calling the school, so much they fixed their error. So please don't give up on your dream. It has been a long road for me and others. Remain positive.

Yehey! Took the NCLEX last Monday and I passed! Wohoo! It felt really good! To all that are taking it soon, my advise is that know your content, know how to prioritize and delegate, know the infection control precautions, normal values and common meds and their side effects. Good Luck to all of you and I will include you in my prayers.
Will be taking boards next week. KInda nervous. Need to study more, but getting nervous. Havin hard time studying cuz my 9 month old is keeping me busy. Just praying to GOD that this third time will pay off. It's been a journey and my critical thinking skills have been improving. GOD only knows. Please pray for me all. Or better yet, throw questions at me. Thanks for this thread!

Good Luck, Just study good, Infection control/delegation/who to see first/Culture Muslim/Jewish/Commen Meds/Lab values/Cardio/Endocrine/ Also select that apply. They are really getting the RN for meds/Delegation mostly everything that I mention. I just recieved my results a couple of hours ago, PASSED. I shut down at 75/ Also I tried to log in to Pearsonvue and It would not let me to register, I guess the trick does work. Any questions let me know:jester:
Thank you for the advice. I've pretty much mastered Endocrine and fluid and electrolytes. Ive realized that mastering fluids n electrolytes often pertain to many of the disease process. still working on labs, just making sure i understand it well and how it works in each system...im gettin better with meds; been reading hurst book on pharm over and over again..hmm saunders good for culture portion? delegation is my weakness due to my lack of clinical knowledge..infection control..well..still need to review more...

I really want to pass this time for my baby girl and of course myself! I can't find any LVN jobs right now and it's quite devastating! Been out of a job for like 3 months now and all my friends have tried to help me! Already applied for unemployment you know! Gotta do what I can! But thanks so much for the positive outlook. At this moment, I'm answering questions while my baby is sleeping on my arm! hehehe

Should I focus on any ECG strips. I'm aware they do show up on boards. Did you get any of them? May I ask how you studied for the infection control portion?

They do show up, V-tach, Brady, V-flutter, I did not get any but my friend did. Infection control who to room in with, they are focusing alot on Resp/Influenza. I live here in California, I took a private NCLEX REVIEW, the first one was for my LVN and now took RN. Thats how I was able to pass both, trust me this review is the Amazing.
