my license finally got approved i am so happy th 6month wait is over it has been a very long journey but i am glad its over!!! hang in there everyone your turn is coming up... thank god the struggle of keeping my bills and house in order are over!!!

Guess what!!! They finally approved my license!!!! Omg i am so happy i have been waiting since december of 2009 since i received my results i am so happy i called the board monday and by friday i got this nice package saying i was approved and to send my 150 i wanna be like nocktime and drive up there monday and take pay the fee i am so happy 6 long hard months the struggle of paying bills is over thanks everyone for their support and never doubt your future!!!!good luck to those still waiting and i appreciated the kind words and support!!! Whooohooo!!!!

OMG i am so happy for yu i am still waiting turned my documents in march 14 and i call my analyst and this H****R Tells me there is no Set date nothing its just in review so i think i will drive up there as well to SacTown.. Im In Southern Cali Near Pasadena So It Will Take Me 7 Hrs But Idc I Will Make a Trip Out Of it Im Going Monday I Cant Wait Anymore!!!

update as of friday.. ok i called and spoke with my analyst.. covo was basically like this.. hi good morning ms fuentes this is cynthia moore.. shes typing my name in the computer as we speak.. i basically say im calling to find out the status of my app. for licensure.. she says its in review.. im like okay well can yu give me a time frame in how long it takes for the board to review i know it could be as short as 45 and long as 60 days she says it can take longer than that..i cant give yu a time frame im at this point boiliing hott!! how the hell are yu not aware of the time frame yu are the state..i swear i hate the way california runs their state offices... furlow days and all.. they were open friday thats why i called but when she says even longer i almost went off!! shes messing with my future.. i know of friends that also have conviction histories with felonies and the process was way shorter having in mind every case is handled separetely!! but hey i have a mis..and for a bad check..like cmon now.. dont give me hope and tell me i cant send your license out until your file is complete then give me sum crap about yu dont know when ill be out of review.. i contacted the ca governor's office today im going to get an answer!! 4 months i dont think so!!

hell no they tell me to wait 45-60 days!!! check this she says you will get your license application in 45-60 days she already knows i will be approved but shes sitting on her butt its been 4 months off and on i passed in dec 2009 my analyst needs a d*&m refresher course to be qualified to assist running out of patience potential nurses!!! d*&n this is making me mad.. if she wouldve been more specific in these requests i would be working by now owwweee im very angry!! so no nuthing yet!! its been about almost 40 days since my last batch of paperwork was sent smh!!!

i took my boards back in on november 13th which was a friday.. found out i passed dec 9..my dumd ass analyst sends me a letter way in jan that i needed to show proof of a ticket paid which i did way back in 08 when i first initially tested.. i send that off asap!! then i got a letter saying she needs police report for a case im like ok.. i went to the sheriffs department then she has the nerve to tell me yu must arent listening to what im saying i need court documents.. this damn woman is confused she doesnt know what the hell she needs anymore.. then i get another letter weeks later in march i have 20 days to send back all court documents which i already did!!! im like ***!!! your messing with my life..who has weeks and more damn weeks of waiting!! when she should have specified what all was ""missing from my file which is some straight b.s.supposely she requested the documents to the courts i go up there the clerk is very friendly then she brings back my file and the letter from the cabvnpt..dated way back jan 12th 2010..im like ***!!! what are they still doing on someones desk..im glad she showed me because the court was gonna duplicated what i had already sent the board in 2008 same certified documents. the clerk can see my frustration. each certified paper is 25$..she copied and certified stamped seal everything for me for free!! of charge!! she was so nice.. my analyast sent me a request totally different from what she sent me.. and if i wasnt there to compare the letters i would be getting another letter saying please send "this...and that"..so i am still waiting it has been 4 weeks sent i went to the courts to get those additional papers she needed.. i pray to god!! i get something next week or even over this weekend.. these damn furlows days dont make it any easier!!i just want my license so i can finally start working!! ive been passed since december.. this makes no sense...my offense was a bad check that gave me a class c misd.did all the rehabilitations and community service probation has been up for years its other offenses way worse than mines i already heard from my analyst that i cant be issued a license unitl my file is complete but damn does it take 3+months!!im just very upset and my patience is almost about to expire!! but i dont have a choice but to wait i hope everyone gets some good news soon because this isnt right!!..any other experiences with convictions/tickets/ sus. license stories...if you dont have any experience with this topic please dont add your good luck everyone!

hey.. well from my experience.. to register for the nclex i was advised to write a letter of the event and regrets and so fourth..a few weeks later i got my packet to register...that was my initial time testing..which i failed back in november 2008...i finally retested in november 2009..(yes it took me a year idk why either)but anyways..i passed found out in jan.it took weeks for my results through enforcement..so now im just waiting for the license to get approved so i can mail that 120 for licensure (im in california)..my analyst recently requested the whole case report..which i sent 2 weeks ago im very optimistic i will be approved..i have 1 prior from 5 years ago for a bad check..i met all my obligations and rehabilitation..the board didnt give me a hard time to sit for the exam initially..keep in mind she slipped and said i just need the mandatory certified documents to complete your file..that right there..just allowed me to stay calm and look for jobs..one more thing.."the board requested the documents even when i failed..before i got my results that made me think i passed back in 08..so when i hear people say the board isnt gonna waste time trying to complete your file when you nclex thats very untrue!! good luck to all with criminal history..i wish yu all well and when i hear from the board hopefully this week i might get that letter ill be sure to let you know~~

im sure everyone knows by now that each case is handeled on an indivisual basis.. all she is asking for is if anyone has gone through the same thing.. me having a criminal history going through california.. the board takes forever!!to give yu any answers i passed the nclex way in december 2009 and yet they have been slow and just recently requested additional paperwork!! my analyst is very slow rude and f.o.s. if you dont have a criminal history and have all the extra anxiety outside of waiting 6 weeks for your results from the enforcement unit then you should have nothing to say in regards to anyone with a criminal history. all this thread is asking if there is anyone out there that has been denied or approved..like i said im sure she already knows cases are handled on an indivisual basis!

OmG..see that's that B.S.!!they did me the sane way told me to send all the documents which I didn't do still received my failing results. I'm sorry yu have to go through all this.I know your fed up irritated and just wanna know I received my results Wednesday.I passed I have to send a police report and proof of payment of a ticket and I'm good to go.she said. .and I have to also clear up these tickets my sis got in my name. .I wish yu well dani keep me posted.also yu can I'm Me as well

attention all nurses!! i just wanna take the time out to say thanks to all those that wished me well in my long journeys with nclex!!.u guys encouraged me when i was down and starteed to second guess myself with this test.i am a second time tester that had doubts as to if i passed.in nov.2008 i tested in ontario ca.went to 118 and i failed.i was so depressed that i let down myself and my boy's. me being a young single mom of 3 i knew i had to change this.iy took me 10mths to realize i had to retest.so i called up lifesavers nursing seminar. and attended their october class in san diego.i felt confident tested exactly 3 weeks later as they suggested.i tested again at ontario.the rep had the nerve to put me in the same seat same. pc as i tested on and failed.i told myself that i'm incharge and i'm not going to let this computer defeat me.when i got pass 85 my heart dropped.when i passed 118 i was saying wow i wouldve stopped by now i made it to 201 and guess wat ya girl ran outta time. i was so nervous.5 whole hrs.so i read when u run outta time.the computer determines your pass/fail based on the last 60 answers.i was like omg noo!!so i had to come to my nurses here to seek advice.they all say try the pvt your in california ease your anxiety.tried it and my results were on hold.the next day i tried i got the good pop up i was relieved but. not 100 percent.i became a bon stalker calling every 2 days. when i seen people that tested after me receiving results i panicked. i have a conviction record my results were in enforcement and needed to wait 4-6 weeks.i tested november 13 and i finally received my results december 9 and i ****passed**** thank god thankyu lifesavers.because yu have saved my life.and thanks again allnurses.yu guys have been so supportive pvt is true 100%!!2nd time testaker...conviction record..through ut all i got through it.i am a nurse. with god every and anything is possible.. :-)

yea.. thanks i went to court to day so hopefully i can get things cleared up. so i was on hold with the board thos morning what i had expected was true my results are in enforcement so the rep told me i have to wait 4-6 weeks from when i took the test its almost 4 weeks. last time they went through enforcement it took anbout 3.5 weeks so hopefully this time getting the good pop up and all i can get them and be happy! i will let yu know when i get them!

thanks i understand your words and greatly appreciate your reply.. i know there shouldnt be any ifs ands or butts with god. look heres my scenario. i had a incident in 2005. did my rehabilitation. was accepted in to the nursing program accepted to sit for my exam. ive had only 3 tickets in my life. 1 in 2006 payed one in 2007 payed and 1 this year in may and making payments..i have a sister that has used my identity to get out of numerous tickets.my name is her alias.so bad enough i found out there are 3 tickets out there in my name adding to the three i have but she had the nerves to use my name this past tuesday. do yu k now how i feel. i feel so hurt and depressed. i have to clear all these tickets up and no one gives a ****.i love her and dont wanna see her in jail. but what else am i left to do. i have 3 boys.my own everything right now car apt.lil job and im counting on becoming a nurse ive worked so hard to just keep getting slapped in the face. my dad tells me to go and follow up on the ticket she got this past week and talk to the police officer basically he will remember he didnt issue me the ticker.. idk i have to go to 4 different courts to plea my story out. i k now my results are in enforcement because of this now. i know i am not perfect but i am accountable for my messups. now i have to deal with this thats why i just wanna give up..i dont know where else to turn.

It will be Ok.. i got the Good Pop up Tested Nov 13 No results Everyone Else Has Received Theirs testing a week after me.. Im second guessing my self as to if I Really care at this point...Im a second time test taker and its hard enough going through it a second time. Everything will be ok for yu. Just wait around and check. I know when everyone is counting on yu to pass and bring home the bacon. me being a single mom of 3 at 24. i need my results.. but i just wanna give up and for get this.I really feel this way at this point!

nope nothing..im just playing the waiting game. im going to to call monday since u tested the 14th and i tested the 13th.. i know my results may be in enforecement but really at this point i dont even care about getting them ill get them when i get them!
