I did not see any thread on May 2010 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.
Join the excellent group!!:hrns&wlcm:
Good luck to everybody testing in May.
Here is the plan and we have a 2 +month.
Finish the NCBSN online NCLEX review
Do the whole Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.
Do the kaplan online course
"Holy Spirit,
Thou make me see everything
and show me the way to reach my ideal.
You who will give the divine gift
to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me
and who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything
and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You
no matter how great the material desire may be.
I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen
Satnam waheguru God please help us all.
So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.

I took the PN test this morning and did the pvt and got the good pop up. theres been 8,000 replies saying it works. so id be dumb to not believe it but anyways. i know everyones test is different, but this was my 3rd time taking it and i found it had similar types of questions. not content but like "priority, client teaching, infection control and meds. Best of luck to u may test takers. Im glad the wait is over. BTW I had 205 questions both times previous but got cut off at 85 this morning

Great Job!
Helllllllllllllllo All,I just finish my Kaplan QBank practice today, score not that good. but never give up.
Tomorrow is another day, continues to practice more, more, more.
Just want to share with May test taker...that my friend took NCLEX -RN last week have recommended to focus on Pharm, Infection, priority question alot.
Good luck all ..................................................
Hey Gold22. I'm also taking Qbank from kaplan. How was your scores? I'm averaging 54-60's only. I don't think this are enough especially on the new RN test plan. I'll take my exam on the last week of may.
Hope everyone is doing well. I took my NCLEX-RN this morning. After failing my first attempt at 265 questions I decided not to tell anyone except my husband when I would be testing again. I spent over a month reading and answering questions out of Saunders and then got the 3-week subscription to the Learning Ext as well as using the LaCharity book (this is seriously a must have). An hour and half after sitting down at the computer and 75 questions later I left the testing center so nervous that it took them 6 tries to get a match of my palm vein. I just got the courage to do the PVT trick and got the good pop-up. I'm SO overjoyed.
Good luck to all of you and never give up on your dreams of becoming a nurse.
Gold 22 - as far as studying infection control I would really suggest looking over some of the mnemonics on here (My Chicken Hez TB, SPIDERMAn, MRS. (VCHIPS) WEE) and know what precautions are required for each category. As far as the SATA, take your time, they are the hardest questions and know you won't get them all right. I struggled with them too, took a deep breath and made the best possible selection. I hope this helps.
