Well, everyone I finally graduated and was pinned tonight! The past 18 months have not been easy and I've taken a physical and emotional toll due to the stress and chaos. But somehow I survived with my passion for nursing still intact and this feeling of accomplishment has made it worth it. There is still so much to learn and so much to experience and I am excited and scared at the same time. As far as employment goes I will continue to work at the same hospital I've worked as an aide only I'll be working as a nurse on the Medical Care Unit starting May 27th :) So Now I await my first day of work and I await for my little letter in the mail from the BON saying that I can schedule to take NCLEX and prove to them I can function as a new nurse. Thank you all for your support, I have come here many times when amidst my frustration and I was always welcomed with open hearts and healing words. I would like to especially thank The Commuter and TraumRUs you both have been very supportive to me and I appreciate it. I'll keep you all posted on NCLEX and my job and I hope to hear from you all!! :monkeydance: :monkeydance: :monkeydance:

Congratulations!!! :smiley_aa
You will surely suceed in your new role as an LPN. It's amazing that you have accomplished this wonderful feat at such a young age, after having lost your mother. If I am correct, you're only 18 or 19 years of age?
Again, congratulations! :balloons:

Congratulations! I hope to be there myself in December!
Thank you all!!! Yes I'm 18 turn 19 in July. And as Commuter said it has been a difficult journey getting here. Before my mother passed she was a Certified Medical Assistant who worked in dialyisis and an urgent care clinic, she was dearly loved by her patients and co-workers and always dreamed of becoming a nurse. She was actually the one who inspired me to go into nursing. Anyway enough of my ramblings, Thanks to all of you again!!!
