Has anyone had an interview that was less than 10 minutes long? She only asked me 3 questions. First, tell me about yourself. Then she asked which shift I prefer and wanted to know my salary requirements. She then thanked me for coming in. It was weird. I drove an hour to get there & she was over 30 minutes late for the interview. It made me wonder if the position had already been filled. I'm not mad just wondering what the heck? Anyone else have something similar happen?

Yep! Weirdest interview I ever had. Dept head asked me a couple questions and then we parted. Had confirmation within the week.
It was a state civil service position and I was top of 'the list'. The job was pretty much mine as I walked in. I started 2 weeks later or so just before Christmas.
I remember walking out of that interview and just laughing. Much to my surprise ...

Only needed to ask you 2 questions instead of 3. Haha

Yep, I've had that interview. Assuming it's not a government job, either 1) they're hiring someone they already know, or 2) they're hiring any warm body. If it's #2, be careful.

I believe she already had someone hired. Would have been nice to know that before I drove all the way over there. Oh well. In the end maybe I dodged a bullet.

Yes I did. I was hired and I didn't even know it. I was like was that the interview? The HR said yes and she congratulated me. I was like ?

I interviewed for a clinical manager position at a local SNF that was weird. I was on time, the DON was not. It was a panel interview, sort of? There were 3 people there who all read prepared standard interview questions from a sheet of paper and paid zero attention to my answers. It lasted maybe 10 minutes max.
I didn't get offered the job but it turns out nobody did as the DON quit without notice the day after my interview and in the scramble to fill that position they weren't too concerned about filling anything else. I heard they reposted it about 4 months later. I wasn't interested. Even if they had offered me a job I wouldn't have accepted it.
