Hi! Who is applying to Weatherford for the spring 2011 semester?
I took the TEAS yesterday and didn't do as well as I was hoping. I am going to retake it and hopefully then I will have 18 or 19 points. It seems that the point system has changed and is only 23 possible points now, rather than 26.
I really don't know if 18 or 19 will be enough, but I haven't completed Micro so that is going to hurt me. I figure it is worth a try though! You can't win if you don't play! lol.
So who else is applying? How many points does everyone have?
I'm so excited to go to nursing school! I'm a little bummed that we have to wait so long now though. I have already started on my checklist and am doing my background check on Friday. I wish I would have waited to pay/sign up for it til I find out if I get in at TCC. I just got so excited I didn't even think about it. For now I think I should just enjoy my time before school starts. I'm taking 2 classes right now (sociology and nutrition). I will still need statistics, tx govt, and literature. I am debating on if I should sign up for a summer class. Im thinking I should just enjoy the summer and not take any classes. Hmmm....
How is everyone doing since we received our letters?
studentCL,
Being an alternate, my "high" is now gone, and I am back to the waiting game. I sure wish they would let us know where in line we are as alternates. I'm not sure where the harm is in that??
It's frustrating because now that we have a few people that applied to Tarleton that have joined our thread, and I have now learned they haven't sent letters out. TCC hasn't sent letters out. These are probably the two most important schools for people in my area to choose from other than WC.
I'm thinking my wait may be a long one.

Congrats!!! I can't wait either. I am going to turn in some of my stuff Friday afternoon, and I'm going to see I can get a book list or something. I want to start buying one textbook or other supply each time I get paid, instead of waiting until the last minute. I'm not sure how Weatherford does their financial aid, but Tarleton doesn't give the money until the day school starts, which is kind of stupid because you need that money for books and such. We have so much stuff to buy so I just want to get an early start on purchasing everything. I don't really want to wait until orientation since its only 1 1/2 months after that we start.
