@ Kay - welcome and congratulations!!!!!!!

@ Jenn - Manow and I have not taken out test for TCC yet. They don't start until September. Mine is schedules for Thursday!

@ Manow - I agree with the friends thing. No one knows the stress like we do and it was nice having someone to go through it with!

@ simrc and wayne- hopefully more people will get on here, but if not we should be able to ask around at orientation and try to get some better numbers for you!

I really look forward to seeing everyone at orientation!!!!!

Oh and at Jenn I took my AP I & II and chem at the SE campus and micro at northwest. I haven't been to south but I do have a class there this semester

Good luck Student and Manow on the HesiA2. I heard it was better than the Teas V. As good as you did on the Teas you will both have an easy time and make a wonderful score.

Jen...I have taken all my classes and TR and NE. HAven't been to the south campus in a few years. I do like it over there though.

Simcr.... as far as my others schools. I am not totally counting on TWU but not hopeless yet. They use the TEAS so I've got that part covered but as far a prereqs I have a 3.4 Not the best as some of the others. They also give you a ".4 bump" on your gpa if you've taken prereqs at TWU. also, they give extra points if you made an A on your first attempt in your prereqs. so we'll see. As far as TCC goes, that's totally up in the air. Semi positive about that one but again, who knows.

Student... I'm still counting on a car pool is TCC goes "south" LOL. What part of Ag town do you live in? South? central? And which nutrition book did yall use?? I am taking it online as well and still haven't gotten a book

SO, i just turned in my Accept/Decline letter to the WC nursing office. I asked a few questions and here is what I know, this will help us on the alternate list....

They only accepted 11 alternates and a few of those were 17's and not all the 16's made it as alternates. That is encouraging to me, i thought they took more alternates, so I would have definately made it in the fall and there is hope for the Spring. She said the deciding factor between the 16's is the composite score on the TEAS

My composite score is 78.7% What you guys on the alternate list looking like?? I defniately have more hope knowing that they only have 11 alternates.

simcr, thanks for the info! That is encouraging! :yeah: I scored 83.3% on the TEAS. Looks like a few applicants have applied to multiple schools, so there is still hope for us 16-ers yet! Just have to wait and see......... :uhoh3:

Phil you have got to be at the top of the list for 16 points. She made it sound like there were just 2-3 that had 17 points and did not make it. I guess we will have to wait for TCC letters to come out.

I would love to carpool, but assuming I still work at the same place I plan on going from work. I work off of north 820 and 35. We have a lot with camera, but I don't think your drive north would make it worth it. I live behind the highlands. I will look for that book tonight.

Thanks student. I live on the north side by cowboys stadium. At least I can jump on 30 and its a straight shot. Thanks for looking for the book, let me know what you find out.
