Hello everyone! So I have decided in my nursing program pursuit that I am going to go ahead and apply to the weatherford college lvn program and then bridge. Does anyone know what kind of schedules we will have? Trying to get an idea of work schedule vs school schedule. I am also going to take the compass help class to get a feel for it but im wondering if I should go on and try to take I it this week also just to get an idea what its like?? Anywho, if theres anyone else out there that will be applying with me come say hi! Oh also I will be commuting from masfield let me know if I have any close buddies for study groups if we get in!
I have requested additional transcripts and reviews and they still haven't added my other courses from my other college. Its basic classes like college algebra, english 2, etc. I look forward to the day they add everything so I can apply for my AA. I just need to finish the classes I'm currently in and one more class then I should be done with my AA.
Wow that's a pain
I am definitely going to email and ask for clarification!! I still need to be accepted into the school and that should be on Monday. I have all of my vaccines completed so that's all good for me. I just need the compass test and my transcript for my application. I'm hoping that ones they accept me they still have all of my info from last time.
Let me know what she says no need in two people emailing the same questions.
I will!!What points are you guys applying with?
Well I won't for sure know til I take my compass tomorrow but right now I have 3 pts for gpa, so I'm hoping I get another 5 on compass I was adding in a point for A&P one then she pointed out the part about needing a "B" or above I had a c+ and I'm in A&P two now so it won't count :/ so total I'm hoping for at least 8 after compass hopefully no less than 7 hey did you see tink's message about the cpr class?
Yes I just saw it!! If I can get a babysitter and it's not on a Saturday then I can go!! I stay home with my two small children and my husband is out of town a lot and I have class on Saturdays. I know TCC has a CPR class as well and I think it is $45.
The one she is trying to set up for us is only $5! We won't find it any cheaper so you better find a baby sitter lol
As of right now I have 12 points but I plan on retaking the math portion of the compass to ace it and get two more points out of it.
This CPR course is supposed to be only $5 and is the health care CPR! So Ill keep you guys posted what they tell me. Fridays are best days for me to take the course, what about y'all?
