Hello everyone! So I have decided in my nursing program pursuit that I am going to go ahead and apply to the weatherford college lvn program and then bridge. Does anyone know what kind of schedules we will have? Trying to get an idea of work schedule vs school schedule. I am also going to take the compass help class to get a feel for it but im wondering if I should go on and try to take I it this week also just to get an idea what its like?? Anywho, if theres anyone else out there that will be applying with me come say hi! Oh also I will be commuting from masfield let me know if I have any close buddies for study groups if we get in!
Hey do yall happen to know on the LVN to RN program it says micro is a required pre-req and that you will take ap two during your program. If I haven't taken micro yet but ap two is already completed would they let me take micro during the program since I've already taken ap two? Or am I gonna have to squeeze it in somewhere between now and applying for the LVN to RN?
I am down for $5!!!! That is super cheap. Friday's are a little tough for me but I could maybe make it work.@tink
how was the compass compared to the Hesi? I'm worried about the reading cause the Hesi version was harder than I thought.
I knew you'd like the price haha
The biggest and best difference I found is that you're not timed. The exam is about 2 hours long. So that helps if you get anxious with time, just take your time and read everything carefully. Now the math part annoyed me, it is also not timed so you can also take your time. However every single question on my exam was a word problem! With that said I didn't do as great as I wanted to, hence the reason why I am retaking that portion. Another good thing is they actually hand you a calculator versus the computer calc.
I didn't like using the computer calculator it would mess up sometimes and not take my numbers. Ok thank you! I need to take it and I hope I can get it done next week since the application period ends in a few days.
Yes it ends the 30th. If you take it soon and want to retake it, you can. You only have to wait 7 days. WC is very flexible with exam days and times unlike TCC so you shouldn't have a problem with getting in soon.
Am I correct when I say that if we get in then we will graduate December 2016?
Yes you're right. I'm curious about whether with a spring start would the courses that show over what would be summer for us be split where some would be pushed to fall because there's more going on over summer than fall
