I know. I am trying not to think about it too much. I did get my final Hep A, Hep B, and MMR yesterday. I am excited to get that over with.

Does it really make a difference where your first choice is ?

It is my understanding that it matters if you're a top applicant. If you aren't a top applicant I believe it doesn't and you "get in where you fit in"."

This is my second attempt applying , first in the new points system . I'm hoping that my BSN TRAC. Courses help in my case . Sadly my stat class I am in now at UTA won't count in this app period . I am hopeful still . I am sitting at 33 points , I applied for both campus spots but chose Weatherford as my first choice . I'm wondering if I should of chosen wise instead . All I know is , keep on keepin on !

Why won't the stats class count? All the BSN level courses I'm in now are being counted...

KL said it wouldnt count unless its complete before the class makes.

Are you sure about that? I have 19 hours that is being counted towards my points according to KL. That includes the 12 hours I am currently taking. Anywho - at 33 points I am sure you will get in. It seems a lot of people have points in that range. Even if you end up on the alternates list, you'll still most likely have a spot. At least that is how it looks for most alt-isters from the past several years (according to posts here on allnurses). I think we are all anxious. 5 weeks to go!

Did you have KL add up your points when you turned in your paperwork? I was told if you are in the class it will count as only a C since you don't have a grade yet.

Ps. I also remember you from applying at the last enrollment period. I also applied last time but did horrible on my TEAS.

I retook my teas but did the same so I think I'm done taking it , just a waste of money now . When I turned in my application KL said my stats and tech writing won't count until I have a grade . I already had more than 15 hours of BSN classes to begin with , these are my last two besides a intro to professional nursing class I am finishing next week . So ... I don't really know where I stand at this point . To day the least , I am frustrated ..

Don't be frustrated. It sounds like you've done all you could. At least you already had the 15 plus hours of your BSN track classes. I think with your points you will be okay. Remember this enrollment period they take more people which means there is more wiggle room as far as points. When we applied for the spring semester that wasn't the case at all. Good luck and try to relax :)
