Hi everyone. Just wanted to start a post for the 2015 Associates degree of Nursing Fall program at Weatherford College and see who else will be applying!
I have 31 points before my TEAS. I probably wont be taking it for a couple more months. I've finished all of my pre and co requisites and have my 15 hours of BSN credits so I'm super excited to finally be able to apply :)
I wonder what the point cut off will be this semester? I'm hoping to get at least 6 points off my TEAS but 8 would be great! Comment if you're applying this upcoming semester! Cant wait!
I am only at 31 points as I have not yet completed A&P 2, and got an overall of 82 on the TEAS. With the old point system I would have been at 34 points. I am curious if anyone else's points are lower with the new system. I am also trying to decide if I am going to take the TEAS a second time before turning in my application. I had planned on applying in the spring but with the old point system my numbers were close enough that I thought it would be worth throwing my hat in the ring. Where is everyone else sitting with their points?
That's really good with your points! My teas was not what I wanted it to be. It was a 71. I am applying with with 22 points, so I would say you stand a good chance! I know the deadline for woes county was Jan 31. I have the 3 bonus points from BSN classes and have all of the co reqs, my teas score didn't help me out too much with points.
Hello ,
I will be taking TEAS V again tomorrow. Just know, I too have studied the ATI book and too online practice tests as well . I scored 89% overall on the practice exams both times. When I took TEAS last time, AFTER taking practice tests. I only was 72% overall .. SMH
NOW with the new points system I am afraid what will happen . before they took stats in account as well as individual scores per section . Last go round in was at 31 and it took 32 to get in ... now due to the new calculation I am at only 29. Therefore, taking TEAS AGAIN..
I am not sure how I stack up in the pack now, I have taken ALL lower level nursing classes as well as ALL BSN track courses... too bad not all apply to this.
