Hi everyone. Just wanted to start a post for the 2015 Associates degree of Nursing Fall program at Weatherford College and see who else will be applying!
I have 31 points before my TEAS. I probably wont be taking it for a couple more months. I've finished all of my pre and co requisites and have my 15 hours of BSN credits so I'm super excited to finally be able to apply :)
I wonder what the point cut off will be this semester? I'm hoping to get at least 6 points off my TEAS but 8 would be great! Comment if you're applying this upcoming semester! Cant wait!
okay, opinion needed.
I have applied for ADN WC and WCWC for fall. I have also applied for LVN for fall at WC. I have completed ALL BSN trac courses as well as associate of Science and arts. There is a HESI test date avail for spring entry for AP-BSN at UTA. Should I take HESI and ready for June application ? I applied WC and WCWC ADN with 30 points.
Thanks

Hmmm.... that is a tough one. I guess it depends on it you have the time and the money to do it. If you are not a current UTA student then that would be $50/60 to apply and then another ~$60 for the HESI A2 test. You could start studying for the exam. I rented the HESI A2 Study Guide from the Arlington Public Library down the road from UTA. Just wait until we get the letter to pay the fees for the test and application. Personally, I don't want to jinx myself so I'll be looking into applying to other programs just in case. It's always good to have a backup plan.

I am a current UTA student, just wondering as I do not want to jinx myself either. ...
Does anyone know what the time frame looks like to accept a spot? I am just curious how much time they generally allow and if that will be shorter now that the acceptance letters are going out so much later than usual.
my acceptance letter was dated september 25th 2014 and we had to accept or decline by october 3rd....not sure if your timeline will be the same or not but this was how it was for our class
Earlier, we were talking about covering the cost for the extra supplies. I found a link for a scholarship. It never hurts to apply. https://mywc.wc.edu/ICS/Student_Services/Remote_Content.jnz
