Hi everyone. Just wanted to start a post for the 2015 Associates degree of Nursing Fall program at Weatherford College and see who else will be applying!
I have 31 points before my TEAS. I probably wont be taking it for a couple more months. I've finished all of my pre and co requisites and have my 15 hours of BSN credits so I'm super excited to finally be able to apply :)
I wonder what the point cut off will be this semester? I'm hoping to get at least 6 points off my TEAS but 8 would be great! Comment if you're applying this upcoming semester! Cant wait!
I just emailed her so I will of course update on here as soon as she replies! :) I'm starting to get so excited... I applied in the beginning of February so it so nerve-wracking that we could possibly find out in just a few more weeks. I hope she gives us good news :)
from what I understand is, We should be looking for a packet over a letter.
I know in the past the people that got accepted or were alternates got packets and people that weren't accepted got letters. Just FYI, this year I was accepted and I got a letter in a small white envelope...I totally freaked out when I got it! LOL So just remain calm if you receive a letter and not a packet in the mail
Also, don't know if anyone is already buying stuff for school, but Dorothy's Scrubs in Fort Worth is having a 25% off sale on all solid scrubs. They scrubs for Weatherford have to be regular Landau brand in true red.
Yeah, I went out a priced a few things this weekend, but don't want to jinx myself either. Thank you for the info on the scrubs!! One more thing I can look up and mark off the list as soon as the letters go out.

Yep our acceptance letters were in a regular letter envelope....scared me when I opened the mailbox lol I almost didn't want to open the envelope
I'm glad yall warned us about the envelope/packet thing because I've been expecting a packer so if I got an envolope instead then I would have had a heart attack haha.
So I swear I emailed KL this morning, but I just double checked my "sent" box to make sure my email had gone through and its not showing that it sent... Its also not in the drafts/junk/etc... Im super bummed because I don't know if I should risk emailing her twice or give it a couple days. She has never not emailed me back before. The email is just gone! Poof. Uggh technology!
I don't think she would mind even if it were duplicated.
That's what I was thinking, but I hate the idea of sending her duplicates. Im pretty sure it didn't go through. (That's what I get for using my phone to send an email!) but I dont know... I think Ill go ahead and send her another one, because I'm going pretty crazy here not knowing anything.
Well I resent it o.O Hopefully I didn't send her two... But she usually gets back to me pretty quickly, so hopefully I can update yall with new information here soon. Hopefully its new information anyways... I would love to at least hear that they've sent the names to the BON. I wonder if they email those or mail them or what? Email is so much faster.
