Hi everyone. Just wanted to start a post for the 2015 Associates degree of Nursing Fall program at Weatherford College and see who else will be applying!
I have 31 points before my TEAS. I probably wont be taking it for a couple more months. I've finished all of my pre and co requisites and have my 15 hours of BSN credits so I'm super excited to finally be able to apply :)
I wonder what the point cut off will be this semester? I'm hoping to get at least 6 points off my TEAS but 8 would be great! Comment if you're applying this upcoming semester! Cant wait!
Same here! I'm getting more and more anxious every day! I eat my emotions and my eating habits have gone down the drain lol due to the stress :, ( At least this semester is almost over! And I registered for 1 summer class, Texas government. After that I will only have 3 more classes to take for my BSN. Thank goodness. I'm not sure how I'm going to find time for chemistry and nutrition during nursing school though...
Maybe you can fit those classes in during summer break or a wintermester. Plus it looks like they have fit in A&P II, Micro, & an elective into the 1st-3rd semesters. Since you already have those done your load will be lighter.
Yeah I am a planner and not knowing is killing me. We are still waiting for an official closing date for the house so I still don't know when we are moving and I'm looking for jobs, but morally I can't take a full time position knowing that I would possibly have to quit at the end of the summer. Ugh!
Good luck with your house! I know I was really wanting to look for a job as well, but I just am not sure if its a good idea when Im preparing for Nursing school. Plus I would quit at the end of the summer too, and Im pretty sure employers don't care too much for that haha!
Im registered to take Statistics this Fall, but Im a little anxious about Chemistry, just because it has the extra lab day. But like you said I might just have to squeeze them into the summer.
General Chemistry for non-Science majors isn't bad at all. If you need help just let me know. I've taken Gen Chem for non-science majors, Gen Chem I & II for science majors, and OChem I.
I might take it the second semester of Nursing school, depending on how the schedule looks. And if I need prereq for it. For some reason WC wont let me register for it, so I might need to take a math class first. Not sure. But I will let you know, thank you!

She had 30 points when we applied I believe! I applied with 33 points myself so I really hope it's enough to get in!! It seems as though the points on here at least are ranging from 30 - 34 or so! Hey maybe that 31 points is an application that got in haha! And I can't blame you for just wanting to be informed!!
