Future RN's!
I created this forum, for us pre-Nursing students, finishing up our prereqs and preparing for the HESI and admittance into the Nursing program for 2015! Let's keep each other motivated and driven. We can do it! Hope to hear from my fellow school mates :-)
Hello I have registered to take the hesi exam on 6-26-2014. I am studying like crazy and excite at the same time.
I am applying for the spring 2015 entry which the deadline has changed to 9-15-2014 so I believe I have a chance. I will be applying wit 90 points so Im praying IM IN.........
lets keep every one motivated for the acceptance process.......
I plan on taking it around the end of the year. I am applying for the Fall 2015 semester. I still have 2 more prereqs to take (Eng 119/BIO 295). I'm getting nervous because everyone tells me how ridiculously hard Micro is at this school. How did your HESI exam go? I have a friend who took it the same day you did but she didn't do so well unfortunately. But she found out they extended the deadline to 9/15 so she has time to retake it. I keep hearing it is a difficult test which is really...REALLY making me super nervous . I hope you did well though and I wish you all the luck on getting accepted in the spring!
Hi all. I turned in my complete application in a few weeks ago. Hope it went well. Going in with a 3.8gpa and I scored an 88 overall on my hesi. To all those concerned about it I would focus on decimals and fractions for the math portion. As for the a&p portion as another all nurses memeber pointed out, they're just random questions. Just know your basics and you should be fine. Goodluck to all and fingers crossed we are accepted!
Hello myworldismusic1! Great job! I'm sure you will get in with those scores and GPA. Do you know how many points they give you for the HESI exam? I know the point scale for GPA but not for the HESI. When I called the nursing office she just kept saying all you have to do is get 75% on each section.
Hi sumthinscandolous, I don't have the specifics of it at all. I asked the nursing office the same and she told me to attend another information meeting to find out. She said as long as you get the required 75 you should be good. But I do know they give you more points for a higher score so that didn't help much.
