Anyone know anything about Wayne States nursing program. I know that they don't have a wait list they are GPA to be admitted. I was just wondering if anyone had gone there or if anyone was going there. Thanks for any input in advanced.

I have been browsing the these forums for quite some time now and i am really interested in getting to know those people who got into CD2 for the fall 2008. I thought many people would post it but i guess not.

Has any one receieved any letter yet?

still no letters out for fall 2008 for the traditional program and the CD2 and traditional ones go out the same time I believe....

Check back in the next couple days there may be excited posts from those who got in the CD2 program

Did you check online profile? what does it say and if i am not wrond you applied for the fall 2008 too right? Has it changed?

I did apply for fall 2008 and the online application link still says "no data from admissions" unfortunately. I still check about 5 times a day. I was really hoping to hear something by today, but I guess I'll have to wait some more...

My mother always told me a watched pot never boils :p I'm starting to think she's right.

Does your online application link say the same thing?

If you were accepted, the online application will say something like "Fall 2008: Admit".

It would be really nice to see that! Even though it's driving me nuts I'd still rather see "no data from admissions" instead of Fall 2008: Denied.

Or do you think the no data means I wasn't accepted? At this point even if I didn't get in I just want to know it's the waiting that's driving me nuts...

Hey, you might want to make sure that your username and password are correct. I was getting the same message as you when I typed in the wrong password. Also, you can call WSU and ask your status. I am sure they have made all their decisions.

So do you have something besides "no data from admissions" now on your link? I know I typed my password in correctly. I don't want to call them up and bug them-- I just try to remember that patience is a virtue.

Yes, it says deny on mine:cry::cry::cry:. Although, I kind of expected that, since I haven't taken any classes at all at WSU. I have a 3.7 GPA, but I guess that didnt matter, since I took none of the pre-reqs at WSU. That's why I am suggesting you call the school. Good Luck!

Sorry about that.:redbeathe You have a great GPA though and I'm sure you'll get into Eastern's program (that's where you took all your prereqs right?)

Chin up I'm sure you're going to get into Eastern and love it. Ok I'm going to call the OSA and ask them what's up. I'm thinking good thoughts....

You were right I did have the wrong password (though the password they gave me as the "right" one I have never ever used....)

And I got in :D

I'm thrilled I already called my husband at work and screamed and called up my mom who wants to buy my steth as a congratulatory gift.

I'm thinking good thoughts for everyone for fall admissions at every school:loveya:

Did anyone else get in the traditional program for 2008? Or if you're in the CD2 I'll still have classes with you fall semester (2010, 2030, and 2060) though you'll leave us behind after first semester....

Hey I'm glad I read your post Katie... I never would have known the password went back to the original.... I GOT IN for the CD2 program.... Now I have no idea what to do though... I was planning on going to Oakland University in the Winter.................. I almost wish I didn't get in that would make my decision so much easier... I've just heard horror stories about how hard WSU is for the CD2, I talked to someone recently who said her program that she is in now is down to 50 students from the 80 that started! That is an awfuly horrifying stat if you ask me! I haven't heard anything like that about OU... WHAT TO DO!?!?!?! Any suggestions anyone out there??

Congrats by the way to all who got accepted! It sure is a great feeling!
