I applied to Washington Hospital. I have stopped applying to Children's as they only accept new grads with a BSN.
I see that you are also in the DMV area. To help you out a little so you aren't wasting your time applying to places. Inova, Childrens, Medstar Georgetown, and Hopkins only hire nurses with BSNs. Holy Cross will only hire ADNs who went to Montgomery College.
I know its very difficult. Its either that or everyobe wants experience. Tho I thought some hospitals make an exception if you are enrolled in a BSN program. Isn't that true? I've applied every hospital in the DMV area
I haven't found that to be true with those hospitals I listed. I'm also starting my RN-BSN program in Jan. They said to apply again once I have it.

I also applied to MedStar Washington Hospital Center's RN Residency program. Folks, please keep us posted regarding any update. I guess nurse recruiter will start calling around by the end of November based on the last cohort. I hope you guys received an e-mail from MedStar Washington Hospital Center nurse recruiter asking like:-
1) Where did you complete your senior practicum/final clinical?
2) What was your final GPA?
3) Have you applied for your DC RN License?
4) Please indicate the top TWO areas of specialty in which you are most interested.
How long ago did you apply @fourland?
Hi Britesmyle. I applied on 09/19. How's yours? Did you receive e-mail asking as mentioned?
I applied two weeks ago. No I did not recieve any email as mentioned. Did you?
Yes, I did. I wish you will receive this e-mail soon. Keep fingers crossed!!
How long after you put in the application you get an email? do you live in the area? I am keeping my fingers crossed
