Is there any way you can travel to another PearsonVue testing center that has available appointment times?
If you insist on taking NCLEX at your local testing center, then yes, you definitely need to worry because you might not get a testing date before your ATT expires. I would find another testing center that has available dates and arrange to travel there, if possible.
OMGosh... I've tried to look for other testing centers that are near my location. I've looked at about 5 of them but I was not able to see any that have the available dates that I needed. I was not informed that this could happen, isn't this pearsonvue's problem? Can't they rectify it?
I mean c'mon, why give you the EXPIRY DATE when you can't even take the exam BEFORE that date expires?!? This is so unfair. I'm pretty upset.

I am planning to schedule now via telephone but I've tried checking out at pearsonvue.com to see what dates they have available and I can only see there Aug 19 as an available date. I'm very scared right now that if I place a call to schedule they will tell me I cannot take anymore because they are no available dates. Anyone here that can assure me that I don't have to worry?
Call pearsonvue or check online every day. People tend to change their testing dates often. Good Luck!
It is not PearsonVue's fault that masses of nursing students graduate in the late spring and early summer months, and therefore, will be taking NCLEX all at once during the middle and late summer. The testing dates are basically first come, first serve.I was not informed that this could happen, isn't this pearsonvue's problem? Can't they rectify it?
I would travel to another testing center by plane, train or automobile.
Try to take a deep breath. Check online EVERY HOUR or two for available test dates. There are test takers who cancel and dates become available within a blink of an eye. The entire month of July was closed in my city, three adjacent cities, and the closet state. I continuously check for three days, 2 am, 5 am, 8 am, 11:30 am, 3:15 pm, 10:30 pm, etc. You get the point. At least three dates with various times became available in July.
I dare not tell you you should have planned better, its not Pearson Vue's fault, blah, blah, blah. How therapeutic would I be as a near future RN to someone who is panicking.
Unfortunately, you were not completely aware of the policy regarding the ATT expiration date. Its ok. WE ALL make small mistakes or misinterpret language, directions, policies, etc. Just diligently keep reviewing Pearson Vue website. You may just find an available date where someone canceled. Best wishes!:)
