Wake Tech Spring 2017 Start

Anyone submitting an application to the nursing program at WTCC this upcoming July for spring 2017? Wanted to connect with others who may be in my shoes. I'm still working on some prerequisites (TEAS and CNA) but hope to finish them up by May. I will be transferring most of my prerequisites in from another school.

I think 4! So I'm confused as to how many spots are available and how many people were accepted....I'm like right at the border of being top 20 in the alternate list

Hi everyone! I recently found out today that I was accepted to a BSN program in VA! YAY! I gave up my seat in the WTCC program this morning! I left orientation early. I essentially just stopped by to talk to Ms. Watkins. Good luck to all of you in your future endeavors! Good luck in the program to all accepted! Keeping my fingers crossed for the alternates - you got this! Glad to give up my seat to someone I am sure really wanted it :)

Congrats girl!!!!! so very happy for you! I caved and emailed Mrs. Watkins about the alternate list (maybe she can give me a number of people that were accepted) lol we will see if she replies

Hi ladies!! I am discouraged a little. I have 161 points and alternate 26. How and WHY??!!! I would have NEVER thought that I would be number 20 anything. I thought I would be in the top 10 to say the least. I dont get it and left with a slight headache. It looked like 8 were accepted yesterday. They called 4 names 1 time and then 4 names again. I'm assuming they were accepted because they were handed schedules. If it's true, then I'm number 18 now. Oh well, commence the freaking wait..AGAIN!

You are #12 now girl :) I know exactly how you feel!!! I was so confident with my 159 since spring is supposed to be less competitive but as our luck would have it, that was not the case! Don't lose hope!!! we are almost there :)
