Wake Tech Spring 2017 Start

Anyone submitting an application to the nursing program at WTCC this upcoming July for spring 2017? Wanted to connect with others who may be in my shoes. I'm still working on some prerequisites (TEAS and CNA) but hope to finish them up by May. I will be transferring most of my prerequisites in from another school.

#3?..That's great!! I wish I was bold enough to email her. :writing: I wonder what's going on with the list. I'm getting my 2nd round of shots today and having the my physical form filled out by the Doctor (already had physical done in May). I still have to get my CPR/BLS and drug test done. After that, I'm done with requirements. Has anyone heard anything else?? How are you guys coming along with requirements?

I still have to get my 2nd TB test done and my physical. I think I have everything else done......!! I will probably email Beth tomorrow......not knowing is killing me too!!!!

i am done with the drug test, getting my flu shot tomorrow as well as my 1st TB test and physical hopefully! For the BLS is that due in NOV or by the start of the semester like the insurance? Cause I can't figure out what class I have to take since they dont accept the Red Cross BLS class anymore it has to be straight from AHA

I don't think they clarified that at orientation very well. I would email them to verify when CPR certification is due......

I did mine at Wake Tech Public Safety Campus a couple months ago.

Hey! I would email "BW" and ask her about BLS and insurance, JUST to be sure. I want to know as well. Maybe also sneak in there an inquiry about your alternate status....LOL!! :up:

Laila34 I had emailed Barbara S. but she is just replying to my email from 09/22 so it will be a while until i get an answer lol Has anyone gotten an update from BW about the list ?? I'm so curious but don't want to bother her any more than I already have

Hey pdlf, CNA! I emailed "BW" about insurance and CPR yesterday and she told me to email "Ms. S". I emailed her but she hasn't responded yet. I went back and read through an old post from an accepted student for FALL 2016. She said that we have to have all immunizations, CPR, physical, and insurance uploaded to verified credentials by the deadline given.

Also, BW told me that she was given approval to accept more alternates and I'm alternate #13 and not #12. We still have a lot of time to be accepted so, remain hopeful. :yes:

Laila34 Thats odd!! good thing open enrollment starts on Nov 1st so i have two weeks to do the insurance stuff!! im gonna have to find a BLS class ASAP lol thanks for checking I wonder why you moved up only 13 spots.....i hope the 20th (drug test deadline) people get booted lol sorry not sorry

No problem! What open enrollment? I'm doing my CPR through Triangle CPR. Google them and look at the dates available. You're a MESS!!! People getting booted...LOL!!!!!
