Wake Tech Spring 2017 Start

Anyone submitting an application to the nursing program at WTCC this upcoming July for spring 2017? Wanted to connect with others who may be in my shoes. I'm still working on some prerequisites (TEAS and CNA) but hope to finish them up by May. I will be transferring most of my prerequisites in from another school.

So does anyone know by when we should have our stethoscope and all that stuff?

That sounds GREAT. One question here from a student who had 147 points (all B's and one A). I didn't get in this semester and I'm in the process of doing both psychology 150 and 241 over to get A's for more points. PLEASE TELL ME THIS WILL BE ALL WORTH IT IN THE END! I did put all my eggs in one basket with the love I have for Wake Tech and where clinicals are done (I'm a Rex employee). Hopefully I didn't mess up with still re-applying to wake tech

They there, I'll be reapplying again for Spring 2018 as well. This will be my second time applying. I applied when it was the last cohort for CNA challengers, therefore, I will need to take a class now. Thankfully, just need the hours since I'm already on the registry. I'm also currently retaking classes that I've received B's in being as though that's all I have with only 1 A. PSY 241 and PSY 150. Trying to apply with at least 165. Last time I applied with 147, that was with all classes completed. Will take TEAS again in April and toy with the idea of retaking another class in the summer to apply with 171 points. What's your run down?

That's good you only have to make up the hours! I just finished my cna class and test on February 8th! Thankful that's off my checklist. How did you do on the TEAS? Is it as "not bad" as everyone says? I have the ATI book along with purchased the A and B practice exams. I am planning on taking it in may, and if I do not pass or like my score I will retake and take it again. That's my plan, anyways . With my grades, I am ranging close to 180. I am taking my last pre reqs. If I pass the teas with the 71 I think ill.get the 6 or 7 points. I'm really aiming to make at least an 81 for the 12 points but who knows how that will go! Lol! I should be happy if I make a 71? The counselor mentioned they even take students who do not even score any points but I'm assuming their total points are close to the 220.

anyone know or hear about the point range for Aug 2017 entry? I am hoping they will mail letters soon.
