Wake Tech Spring 2017 Start

Anyone submitting an application to the nursing program at WTCC this upcoming July for spring 2017? Wanted to connect with others who may be in my shoes. I'm still working on some prerequisites (TEAS and CNA) but hope to finish them up by May. I will be transferring most of my prerequisites in from another school.

So how are supposed to order the scrubs with the logo....Omg the bundle is that much?!?! 0.o

I went there to order the bundle and Scrub top. You can call and ask them to order both for you, I just tried on a Scrub top cause they had samples. You pay when you pick up your order.

ohhh so they do have scrub tops to try on before ordering! Yeah i figured we wouldn't be able to just buy them off the rack.... I should have been more clear but thanks for all the info 22bebe!! Good luck with the studying !! :)

Y'all will need and use the lab kit especially for your later labs. It's what you use to practice for some of the labs. Like a foley catheter kit and an iv kit for example.

Thanks for clarifying EmilyNicole! Im in another deliemna...I was unable to order my scrubs. What should I do? Wear? What happened to those students that didn't have their scrubs by the CNA check off date?? As you can see, I'm worried..lol :unsure:

I ordered mine passed the deadline to order them so mine came in late. But I still had them in time for the cna check off. I was worried I wouldn't so I emailed them and she said sometimes they have extras from previous students. I'm not sure what happened or if anyone wasn't in uniform for that day. But if your concerned you won't have yours in time I would just email one of them.

Does anyone know if we have to wear our scrubs for the first day of class?

You do not have to wear your scrubs the first day of class. You really on wear them on clinical days. The only other times you will wear them is when you get checked off for cna skills, full body assessment, and drug administration, and the when you do Sims lab.

Hey guys what are you studying for the med calc test? I have been doing the practice problems on BB and some online. I did not get a chance to get the book and CD they told us to so I am just worried I dont have enough practice come Thursday.
