  1. I received my letter today and I was accepted!!
  2. I found the announcement by logging into Blackboard and going to "courses tab" and then searching "Gateway to Success Nursing Curriculum Orientation" I saw the announcement with "next in line 1". Since then there is another announcement there stating "ignore any emails that you may receive regarding this topic". I agree with others that this was a mistake the nursing department made and that we will be notified by letter in the US mail...........hopefully soon!!!
  3. Mine said "next in line 1" as well. I don't think it means anything. It may be where they will post news later???
  4. I did not get the email but I logged into blackboard and looked at Gateway to Success Nursing Curriculum Orientation Announcement. I see the same thing. I was told today the letters will be mailed this week or early next.
  5. Thanks for the update!
  6. Nothing:-( I wish we had an idea of the point range. I have two classes that I have not completed but was hoping that I may be high enough for the wait list. I have a total of 163.
  7. Yes, I am hoping that the letters will go out sooner rather than later. I am sure they have a lot of students asking, especially if they have to register from classes soon.
  8. The advisor did not mention a total number of applicants, just that it takes them a while to review all to make sure they are complete with necessary transcripts (those who are transferring into Wake Tech). She explained that once they complete the process they create a spreadsheet with total points and send over to the nursing department. The letters come directly from the nursing department. I spoke with her on Monday and at that time they had not sent a list of names and points to the nursing department. She did not give me an exact time frame in April - just sometime in April.
  9. I spoke to an advisor yesterday and she said the letters will go out in April. The orientation is May 8th this year - latter than the previous years. I ask about the point range but she said she was not sure. So we wait.................
  10. anyone know or hear about the point range for Aug 2017 entry? I am hoping they will mail letters soon.
  11. Thanks for the update!
  12. Thanks, Yikes, 300 applicants!!! I did my point count over the phone and it was accurate. I didn't expect to be competitive, as I have not completed all of my pre-reqs. I also transferred all of my classes to CFCC and they did not accept two. I thought I would give it a shot - who knows!
  13. Laila34 - Did you apply for Fall 2017 to VGCC? I did and was also curious about points. Do you know yours? SR
  14. Angela I also applied for Fall 2017. Have you heard anything about the point count this year? range? SR
