Wake Tech Spring 2017 Start

Anyone submitting an application to the nursing program at WTCC this upcoming July for spring 2017? Wanted to connect with others who may be in my shoes. I'm still working on some prerequisites (TEAS and CNA) but hope to finish them up by May. I will be transferring most of my prerequisites in from another school.

Question for my friends who have taken anatomy at WTCC. Are the lecture and the lab separate grades, or is it one grade?

So, why are they only accepting 60 students this semester? This has been confirmed by two advisors.

My guess would be that it is because of the many students that dropped this (as well as last spring) semester. They still need to make room for the students who are already in the program, the "second-go-rounders."

Wow! I didn't realize they were only accepting 60 students! When I read your post I emailed Ms. BW and asked. She wouldn't reveal how many students were accepted for spring 2017. She said that information would be revealed at orientation for students who were accepted as well as to the alternates. It would also be in the denial letters. Really curious as to what the accepted points range is! Does anyone remember how many were accepted for fall 2016?

I asked earlier this week to the normal health advising email, I believe anyone of them can randomly answer. Then on today to confirm that letters will be sent, I also asked was it true that only 60 students would be accepted, she confirmed both. She said that may or may not change as they decide to let in more or not.

I can't remember how many people were accepted for fall 2016? Was it 70? Or was it less? I don't think it was more... or was it?

Well looking at webadvisor, I see that there were 49 seats each section. I'm. It sure if half of that are over doers.... I wonder if we can pick them up? That would be great. I live 5 minutes from health science campus

Hey guys! (I'm new to allnurses but have keeping up with this forum!) I just emailed them and they told me letters were sent to main campus TODAY to be mailed out and that we would be getting our letters Friday or Monday!! Holy crap I'm freaking out!!!!!

Question for everyone, do you think a OBGYN could complete the physical form? Like has anyone gone to their primary care practice and completed this physical where they did the eye, hearing and whisper test?

Joyneral12, that is so crazy! Fingers crossed! Have you heard any other details? So glad to hear they are being mailed today! Hopefully the points range will favor all of us on this forum! About how many points do you have Joyneral12 if you don't mind me asking? Have you heard about points from anyone else?
