I was cut off at 75 questions, and I swear that I didn't recognize HALF the stuff on that test. I have never felt so STUPID and UNSURE about anything in my life, and I can't stop crying...someone give me some hope here!!! *************sorry, meant to post in the nclex forum!!!*********

I don't think I've ever talked with anyone who was sure she'd passed; everyone was sure she/he HADN'T! (and they'd all passed).
A friend of mine, someone who is just naturally great at exams, said the NCLEX was the most baffling thing she'd ever taken. She was clueless. But apparently not; she passed :)
Hang in there!

Remember that both passers and failers get about 50% right and 50% wrong. The pass/fail decision is based on how easy or hard the computer has to make the questions in order to keep you around 50%.
I PASSED!!!!!!!:balloons: :roll

I took the NCLEX in March and walked out of the test confident that I had passed.
When I took it again in May I walked out thinking I needed to go back to nursing school
I passed that second time.

The exact, and I mean EXACT same thing happened to me today. 75 questions, 45 minutes. I'm half thinking I'm brilliant, and half looking over my shoulder for the assassin I'm sure the BON is going to send after me to take me out to ensure I never have the chance to kill a patient. Congrats on passing!!!
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for ya, elizabells...by the way, our school told us to go to our states government website and look under licensing and permits, do a search, and look up our own names...in just over 24 hours it showed me with an active license, which is how I knew that I had passed. Just a thought...you probably know your state's website because it is where you went to register and pay your state fee. In case you don't want to wait the 5 days it shows in your countdown...

I felt exactly the same...... so much so that when I got to question 75 i hesitated for at least a minute because I knew it was going to shut off. The only thing that was missing was the big neon sign flashing " LOSER". However 48 hours later I passed yipee

Many have, and they passed.
Remember that the number of questions has no bearing on your results.
well thanks for that info...i'll just keep my fingers crossed!!
brandye1: One of my nursing school friends just took his NCLEX last week, he got all 265 questions, and he PASSED! Hang in there! :wink2:
