Waiting on Ivy Tech acceptance letters thread

U.S.A. Indiana

I thought it might be nice to have a place for us to vent our frustrations with waiting until May 30th or so when letters start going out. I know I'm going nuts already!

How about introductions and a little info about each person?

I'm applying to both Bloomington and Indy-Lawrence for the Fall 2009 ASN programs. I turned in my apps this week with 4 As on the pre-reqs and a 90.0 on the TEAS. My eventual goal is at least getting a BSN, and if I feel like doing homework long enough, an MSN of some sort. I work full time now, but will hopefully only work part time if I get accepted. I'm so antsy to start preparing and finally feel like all of this is real!

i was wondering did anybody that applied to the indy-lawrence campus receive their acceptance/denial letter? i haven't received mine yet. i've called to see if they've been mailed out and all i get is the voicemail.

I didn't apply for fall, but I know several people on here got letters probably 2 wks ago already? You should definitely go in there in person and find someone to talk to. Yours might have gotten lost in the mail or something. Their orientation is next week I believe! Good luck!

i received my rejection letter on may 30 dated may 26.

I'm glad those Columbus letters finally went out! Congrats guys! April - I hope you can get things straightened out and get your acceptance letter!

I went to Columbus today to see what happened, and sure enough they had made a mistake. I guess they had given me points for a B on my English class when I had gotten an A. So they printed me off my acceptance letter and apologized. What a relief! Now all I have to do is decide between Madison and Columbus. Thanks to everyone for all the support!

I am asking for a friend>>>>> Has anyone heard of any letters going out for LPN part time program in Logansport,Wabash area? Thanks

I'm so glad you got it straightened out, AprilP! Congrats! csab, I wonder if they actually have space for a few more or they just take a few less alternates? The cutoff for the alternates was 195. They know a few people will decline their spots and maybe they count on that? Whatever they do, since it was their mistake I'm sure they will go to great lengths to correct it so people don't bring grievances against the school.

Hello All,

My name is Kim and I have been accepted to the Fall ASN program at Ivy Tech in Columbus.

If anyone is interested, I know someone in my town (Shelbyville) who will give the AHA CPR class for Health Care Providers at a discounted rate ($25.00). If I could get a few people together, we could have the class in the next week or two. Please let me know if you are interested.

Thanks... :)

ivy tech kokomo pn program acceptance and denial letters should be arriving this week. yeah!!:D is there anyone who has two choices between locations for the pn program and won't be going to kokomo? i noticed people applied to more than one region or location. i am getting excited i can't wait until my letter is delivered, hopefully it's a go. :roll

i know you posted this a few weeks ago, and you may have already called and gotten your answer, but they did make an error entering my address and my letter went to another house on my street (they just transposed some numbers). i assume because they are putting in so much information for so many applicants that mistakes can easily be made! good luck to you and i hope you get it (or have already gotten it) sorted out!

I just found out this week that I got accepted into the LPN to RN transition program (Lafayette) for this fall 09. I am very excited to get my RN. Anyone else starting the transition program this fall? I have orientation this coming week.

I got into Kokomo LPN..I am so happy:yeah:I got my letter 1 week ago. Anyone commuting from Indy to Kokomo, besides me for LPN or ASN?
