Hello!

Anyone nurse from this hospital? Can you please share to me how to get employment in this institution? Is it the usual process, or does anyone need to have a "padrino"? My sister is very interested, first of all it's a government hosp. and we heard pay is somehow above the others. Secondly, its very near her place.

Thank you!

I went to VMMC last Monday, April 13 to submit my resume and other requirements. Unfortunately, they are not accepting applications for the Staff Nurse position:cry:. Posted in their bulletin board and in the HRD door that Staff Nurse applications are temporarily closed and to wait until further notice.

As for trainings, according to the Nurse stationed in their Nursing Service Office, their Chief Nurse was away on vacation for the Holy Week and training schedules are on hold dependent on the "go signal" of the CN upon her return to work.

Thanks for the info, this hospital is just around my neighborhood so I will try applying for this hospital as well. Do they require an IVT training beforehand?

mommyrina please let us know if they are on hiring so that many aspiring nurses will land a job in VMMC. Thanks a lot and God Bless

I will, so far I don't have plans on going yet but I will definitely post something here if I find out for sure. God bless to us all!

Thanks mommyrina!! God Bless!

i just went there earlier, they're still on freeze hiring for nurses. However, per DOLE program for displaced OFWs and their dependents, they have an item for 15 nurse positions... otherwise, we just have to keep on checking with them.

Does any of you know the schedule for IV training this May at VMMC?

hello everyone!

is there anyone out there who has been trained (or knows someone who was trained) at VMMC? Can you please give me an idea if their training is worthit? What do trainees normally do in their hospital? Do they get the workload of staff nurses even if they're just trainees or are they limited to some functions?

Thanks..

has anybody here worked at the VMMC? how many staff nurses per ward are in there? are there any affiliating schools? how many trainees are deployed per ward? what's the bed capacity per ward in this hospital?

do they still accept nursing trainings here? thanks

is it true that VMMC is only accepting applicants with a Board rating of 80% and above?
