bls and acls training
try to know the requirements of the hospital you want to apply to..sometimes they don't accept bls and acls trainings from this or that hospital..i know two prominent hospitals who don't honor each other's training programs..try the Phil Nat'l Red Cross BLS, it's the one mostly honored.....

There's a jeep going to QMMC just outside Trinoma. There's also the terminal at SM North, just look for the City Hall jeepneys..

Nursing Care Plan for sepsis neonatorum
i have a a 6-day-old patient with sepsis neonatorum. as of now her vital signs are normal and the only sign she's showing is jaundice. she's on continuous phototherapy and breastfeeding formula. the only diagnosis i wrote on the SOAPIE chart was non-compliance of the SO to adhere to the treatment regimen because no other signs and symptoms were seen.

Oversupply of nurses, LPNs, CHED's inability to do their role
i'm still a student and i just want to say that the reason many in the philippines take up nursing is because of the media. they always mention the "shortage of nurses" crap and high wages that await those who pass the local licensure exams. they don't give people all the relevant information so the big picture isn't clear to the people who just want to earn money and live a decent life. if you're aware of the situation in this country, then you already know why people would jump to opportunities like that. unfortunately, there are a lot of these so-called mushroom schools around who offer low tuition fees. add to that the idea the middle-class people here have that everyone can be a nurse (i'm not an A-student, but i do know enough to see that there are a lot of students who shouldn't have taken the course). just one student's point of view, though....
