Which muscle does this have to be given in to? Does it matter? I can't find any info about this. I know sometimes, for different injections it is recommended to give into a certain muscle. Thanks!

Nearly all of our Home Health patients get theirs SQ.. upper arm. Very few IM. The one or two we've had IM were gluteal.

I've never seen B12 injected ordered SQ. I've always seen it ordered IM. Good to know.

IM et deep SC are the ways that I've done them in home health. Mostly depends of pt preference et what the Dr. orders.
