good day! im a nurse from the phils who passed the NCLEX last december 2008. i recently applied for the visa screen certification program of CGFNS, and part of the requirements include the license verification. i sent an email to NJ BON regarding the fees and the things i needed to do for the verification process. however, they always replied that i still dont have a license yet so verification is not possible. so now im stuck! i dont know how to go about this anymore. the verification is the last document i need for my visa screen. please help me! :crying2:

Hi,I am in the process of applying/paying online for my visa screen.

I already passed the NCLEX-RN. They sent me a notification that I passed.

My concern is regarding application online, For Nurses questions only, I chose YES for question DID you pass the NCLEX exam. However, upon viewing the completed application forms, it showed "NO". What do I do? should I continue? Or this is just fine since I don't have a license yet.

Passing Nclex, it should say yes. You don't have to be licened for visascreen. You need to correct that. Otherwise pay online but print the form out and sent it via tracked mail/courier.

Thank you. you're a great help.

I was reading the thread about online application. I will cancel my online application and do paper and pen instead.

Thank you again

they did the same to my online application. i think they will place "passed" on the nclex once they receive the verification from the NJ BON. i wrote to CGFNS about it:

Thank you for contacting CGFNS International.

Yes, you can send a letter via postal mail (we need everything in writing) that you passed NCLEX and the date you passed.

****ORGINAL QUESTION****

I reviewed the copy of the visa screen application provided in the document printing section of the website and I have noticed that there were some mistakes on number 16, which indicate questions regarding NCLEX etc. I remember that I carefully placed that I already passed the NCLEX, including the date and location of where I took the test so I dont know how and why this happened. Is there something that can be done to correct this?

Have you contacted BON/BRN to verify to ICHP that you passed NCLEX? They need to confirm

Have you contacted BON/BRN to verify to ICHP that you passed NCLEX? They need to confirm

yes i have, for about 3 times already. they kept on telling me that they cannot send a verification since i dont have a SS# and i haven't competed immigration papers yet.

here's their latest email and their reply:

I am a nurse from the Philippines. I recently availed of CGFNS' visa screen certification program. In connection to this, i would like to request for NJ BON to send a correspondence, which would verify that i have already passed the NCLEX. I took the exam last December 02, 2008.

Reply:

The Board does not mail exam results until your file is complete with immigration documents and a ss #. Exam results do not expire, we will continue to hold them until you have acquired all documents.

i really dont get it and its not a helpful answer. *teehee* i dont get why they kept on telling me that theyd mail it once i complete the immigration papers, dont they know that the visa screen is needed for me to complete those papers? :banghead:

I agree it's not a very helpful answer,lol

I suggest to ring them and explain the procedure, that you need visascreen to sort out immigration, for visascreen you need verification that you passed NCLEX and that this letter needs to be mailed directly to CGFNS NOT to you.

Good luck

I never had any working experience here. I'm trying to fix my visascreen right now. I have questions though..im really scared to make mistakes in filling up the form :(

1. Preliminary information

d. i worked in (city/country)____ as a (profession specialty)___for (no.)__years

-do i write nothing in here since i have 0 experience?

15. Registration/License

b. if you country does not issue a license, does your diploma give you the right to practice?

- i should check NO right? since we need to pass the boards here in the philippines to get a license as a nurse??

c. in which other country or countries do you currently have or have ever held a nursing license?

- should i leave this blank since i only passed the nclex? I mean, I still have no license since i need a SSN.

d. if licensed in the United states, canada, india or australia, please list the state or province in which you were licensed.
