New Jersey RN license renewal for foreign nurses
hello! im a nurse from the philippines who passed the NCLEX in 2010. NJ gave me a license card and number valid for 2 years. it will be expiring in 2012 and i was wondering if i could renew it even without a SSN (since im still here in the philippines). and, i also would like to know the renewal process and the other requirements needed. thank you in advance to those who will be answering my query. :)

visascreen documents - license verification
yes i have, for about 3 times already. they kept on telling me that they cannot send a verification since i dont have a SS# and i haven't competed immigration papers yet. here's their latest email and their reply: I am a nurse from the Philippines. I recently availed of CGFNS' visa screen certification program. In connection to this, i would like to request for NJ BON to send a correspondence, which would verify that i have already passed the NCLEX. I took the exam last December 02, 2008. Reply: The Board does not mail exam results until your file is complete with immigration documents and a ss #. Exam results do not expire, we will continue to hold them until you have acquired all documents. i really dont get it and its not a helpful answer. *teehee* i dont get why they kept on telling me that theyd mail it once i complete the immigration papers, dont they know that the visa screen is needed for me to complete those papers?

they did the same to my online application. i think they will place "passed" on the nclex once they receive the verification from the NJ BON. i wrote to CGFNS about it: Thank you for contacting CGFNS International. Yes, you can send a letter via postal mail (we need everything in writing) that you passed NCLEX and the date you passed. MC ****ORGINAL QUESTION**** I reviewed the copy of the visa screen application provided in the document printing section of the website and I have noticed that there were some mistakes on number 16, which indicate questions regarding NCLEX etc. I remember that I carefully placed that I already passed the NCLEX, including the date and location of where I took the test so I dont know how and why this happened. Is there something that can be done to correct this?

visascreen documents - license verification
thanks for your replies Silverdragon102 and 5cats. :) so does that mean that i do not have to send the license verification form found in the visa screen packet and that i just have to write NJ BON a letter requesting for them to send some form of correspondence to CGFNS?

visascreen documents - license verification
nope. all of my other documents are already with them since i underwent the CES program for NJ. its also frustrating that they keep on telling me that they cant verify since i dont have a license without telling me the kind of verification or request that i need to get. i even specified that it is for the visa screen and that im a foreign educated nurse.

visascreen documents - license verification
good day! im a nurse from the phils who passed the NCLEX last december 2008. i recently applied for the visa screen certification program of CGFNS, and part of the requirements include the license verification. i sent an email to NJ BON regarding the fees and the things i needed to do for the verification process. however, they always replied that i still dont have a license yet so verification is not possible. so now im stuck! i dont know how to go about this anymore. the verification is the last document i need for my visa screen. please help me!

Fees to pay
yes, send your application together with the criminal history and background check authorization. after BON receives those, they will send the fingerprint cards. you would have to go to NBI Carriedo (the one in quiapo) to accomplish the fingerprint cards. i think they wouldnt mind if you send your documents together. but just to be sure, you might want to ask the BON about that.

Fees to pay
you will have to wait for NJ BON to receive all your documents before you register with pearson. confirm it with the BON through email to be sure that they received the docus. after that, register with pearson online and pay through credit card. i registered a week ago and i already received my ATT. :) hope all goes well. good luck!
