Virtual ATI?

Is anyone else using this course to study? Did you find it helpful?

i have not used the virtual ati, are you preping for the lpn or rn nclex?

thread edited to conform to the tos here.

I just graduated in May and am using virtual ATI.

I find it helpful to have a focused plan and a mentor as well as a plan for what to study. Do 100 questions a day! Before I started the course, I was completely overwhelmed. I'll take the NCLEX in June and will let you know the results.

How much does the Virtual ATI cost?

Virtual ATI costs $249 for already existing users where the program was used by the school. We have several volumes of content area that corresponds to each nursing specialty. Fundamentals, Pharmacology, care of children, Leadership, Psychiatric nursing, etc. There are many other packages you can use in ATI. After every subject at our school, an ATI test was given and we needed to reach a benchmark grade that would predict our success on the NCLEX. I'm doing it because it gives me a focused plan and a mentor. I'm also using the Saunders NCLEX book to get in more questions.

Best of luck!

Im also signed on to the virtual ATI and not finding it helpful. I just registered with the Hurst review today to see what I get out of that.

I am using th virtual RN and not liking it at all..I felt I was doing better on my own studing..but I can be wrong....thus far I hate it......

i did not like this, I fell like it was a waste of 300 dollars. I changed from this to Kaplan and sooooo glad I did. I can read books on my own, didn't need there huge books.

I can't change its too late for me now!!

I'm curious about what a Kaplan class does that's more effective than ATI?

Any updated thoughts on the VATI? I'm using it now. Don't have anything else to compare it to. Using my Saunders book as well and the CD. Don't feel very good about how it is going, but don't test until July. Anyone who completed it taken the NCLEX yet?

I started using Virtual ATI, but was unclear as to what I needed to study and how to go about it. I graduated in May and took the NCLEX in June about 1 month after graduation. My virtual ATI advisor told me that according to the ATI Comprehensive Predictor test, I needed a few more weeks to study and I didn't listen and took it anyway.

Needless to say I didn't pass. So now I'm hoping to get a more focused study plan with ATI. You can create a study guide from your comprehensive predictor test which will guide your study. I didn't know about this study guide until 4 days before I took the test. I received the information much too late. I'm now thinking about doing a 4 day review at a local university and continuing with my study plan with the virtual ATI.

Keep doing your Saunders questions, 100 a day and review your week areas.

Hope that helped a little.
