Hi all. Has anyone gone through the hiring process at Virginia Mason for New Grads? I got a phone interview, but I don't know whether they phone screen everyone or only people they are interested in. Any insight would be appreciated.

I would just really prepare answers based off of your nursing school experiences and be prepared to talk about the ways you will successfully transition to being a nurse from a student.

Thank you for the advice. I wish you the best and hopefully they may extend an offer after all! I'll let you know how it goes!

HI guys,
This might be a little out of topic because I'm not a new grad so bear with me. I applied for a job at Virginia Mason too and was wondering how long it took for them to call or email you about a telephone interview? Their job application site doesn't really give you a lot of information about your job submission. The day after I applied the Job Status changed from Active to Inactive (No longer accepting submissions).
Your input is much appreciated.

I heard back about a phone interview the same day I applied, but I think that's the exception, not the rule. Don't get discouraged, I've heard back weeks to months after submitting an application!

I see. How did you submit your application?

I submitted it online.
Did anyone hear back? I did end up getting an offer. I hope you all did as well!

No, I haven't heard yet.
But I did hear from another hospital which wasn't really my first choice.

Hi, I was wondering how long it took for them to notify you of the panel interview after the phone screening? Thank you!
I think they set me up with an interview during the screening, but I don't think that's the case for everyone who gets offered an interview

Hey all,
Is anyone applying to the 2020 Virginia Mason Ambulatory Residency? I’ve spent 6 years doing phone triage, and want a change. I do not have my BSN, but have a Bachelor’s in Psych.
Have they started phone interviews? Do they offer residency only once per year, or multiple times per year? Has anyone worked at their clinics? How are the benefits? Thanks in advance!
