I wanted to..I am not sure if when is the next RN residency program. I would love to be part of the program.

What area did you apply?

Hey Lulu! I have a nurse panel interview coming up and was curious to know how it went, the questions they asked, and any other sort of tips/information which may be useful!

Moreover, I was curious to know whether they offered you a position in their residency program, told you what unit you’d be in (how that process works), and more!

My panel interview is actually coming up this week. Did you give preference for a unit? I couldn't get a clear answer on whether the leadership from the unit(s) we said we wanted will be sitting on the panel.

Oh that’s fantastic! Well please keep me updated and I wish you the best of luck. Mine will be a bit later in the month. I never gave preference for a unit nor did they give me information about individuals that would be on the unit, so likewise I’m a bit unsure... I’m sorry! Please keep me posted on how everything goes and I I hope to see you when the time comes for the cohort start date!

I haven't had it quite yet, I have it this week! But once I hear more I'll be sure to let you know!

How did it go for you? What kind of questions did they ask (behavioral type and such?), and any other sort of tips/information which may be useful for me heading into the interview?!

Also, did they off you a position in their residency program and tell you what unit you’d be in?

I have not heard, but I don't think I'm going to get it because I'm out of state and they were 0/10 impressed with that.

I would just really prepare answers based off of your nursing school experiences and be prepared to talk about the ways you will successfully transition to being a nurse from a student.
