VERMONT THIRD EXAM

Published

Ok please answer question: A US citizen has initial application on Vermont and California. Eligibility came first from Vermont followed by the latter. Took exam on Vermont failed twice, now planning to take Cali for NCLEX. Initially, when one applies to CABON they ask whether you have applied or taken nclex in other states, answer was NO before. Now taking nclex again, I want to know if there will be any problems regarding taking NCLEX in California?

I am sorry but each country should look after their own citizens first, if each country kept fetching in foreign workers there will be a uprising and the current government will soon find themselves out of a job. Yes employer should look for the best candidate but I am sure that many citizens will meet that criteria.

Not the USA.

The USA has always imported the brian trust of the world, We look for the brightest minds in the world, and try to get them to the USA.

This will perserve the government, Just look during World War II as a prime example, The US recruited Albert Einsten to USA prior to the war, and we all know after the war was over USA become a Super Power in the World, and remains that way still.

You said to "Take care of our Own", I say just hire the best canidate for the job. Don't hire someone just because they are native to the hiring country.

You always choose the best canidate, You don't employee a inferior person just because they are native to the country.

Take the cream of the crop, No matter if they are Forgein or Domestic Nurses. :smokin:"

You're calling people from the native country inferior. It plain states it. You can't get out of that either you posted it. Also want to mention that anything written has more power over verbal. As they say in nursing "If it wasn't written in the charts, then it didn't happen"

So are you saying that even now when many US citizens are loosing jobs including nurses that they should just give up because a foreign worker is going to be employed as they are brighter than the USC? If that is the case then why has there been retrogression since Oct 06 and why are many many nurses and other professions struggling to get a visa for the US?

To become a USC you have to have PR for either 3 or 5 years depending on how you got GC, I haven't seen anything to indicate that you can get it quicker

Do you mean BRAIN trust? Or has Brian got a trust that we nurses don't know about???

Let's see, wasn't Einstein a German Jew? Heck, it was so noble of the US to offer safety to one man who was brilliant and let millions of others suffer.

The US became a Super Power due to the debts other countries incurred during the course of the War. But then the US didn't enter until the end of 1941. The UK, Canada, Australia, and others had been fighting since the autumn of 1939 and were exhausted.

With the way the American economy is, how much longer will the US be a super power? China owns a lot of the US and aren't they Communists?

What always stands out for me is this tid bit: John Wayne, America's biggest hero, (in the movies he won every war the US ever had) didn't serve in the US military. He was deferred due to the size of his family.

Excellent advice, since American has proficiency in the culture and language a US resident will always win out, and there will be no complicated immigration paper work.

Can you Itzallgood, could you share the best practices in your profession ? What experiences draw you to this conclusion?
