Hi!
I have read on many of these threads, from Suzanne and others, that the vermont centre is the fastest in processing, and they recommend getting initial licensure in NY for this reason, then endorsing to a state of your choice.
One thing I don't understand.....yes, vermont is the fastest processing for IMMIGRATION, so how can this help if endorsing to another state as the petitioner would be outside the NY area...........I.m really confused, can anyone clear this up for me? (wanting to live and work in one of the southern states)
Sorry if this has been covered before
K.
im puzzled..if i am licensed in Vermont but i want to work in CA, i just have to do the endorsement, find an employer in CA and work on the immigration stuff so i can get to CA?please correct me if im wrong..assuming that im correct, what should be the first thing to do..find an employer or do the endorsement?please help me with this..thank you for any reply..
Just because you go thru a state for initial licensure, you are not required to ever set foot in that state. That is what many of you are hung up on.

What she is saying is it doesn't matter which state you go with initially you do not have to work in it if you are going to work in another state. for example I took NCLEX with NY bon but endorsed to AZ once I passed and just followed their requirements as a foreign trained nurse and did CES
hi! i was just wondering because i have seen the apllication form for licensure in vermont and it says there on page 3:
I have practiced nursing as defined in 26 V.S.A. 1576, for at least (check the appropriate statement):
120 days (960 hours) in the last 5 years or 50 days (400 hours) in the last 2 years
Is it talking about working experience in my country? (since im a filipina)
do i have to have a working experince before i can apply for a licensure in vermont?
please can somebody answer my questions, it would be a really big help for me.. Good day and thank you in advance!
