HEY GUYS! IM STARTING VEEB IN September I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.IS THE PROGRAM VERY INTENSE AND WHERE DO THEY DO CLINICALS?

I had orientation on Monday. They just went over the basics of what’s expected of us this upcoming year and had us fill out some paperwork. They read out all the important sections of the student handbook and gave everyone a copy. We were given chrome books with textbook codes and had our pictures taken for student ID’s. One of the teachers did a PowerPoint presentation of how to use all of the online programs as well as some study tips. There was also another packet from a different teacher we were sent home with to study over the Summer. They also said we will be in person for class but the first 1-2 weeks may be online as they convert the classrooms into more socially distant spaces.

 

 

Also they said they don’t use the moodle app because it doesn’t work well with the content they post.

@Mayon3gg how was orientation Monday? I Am actually in section 1D not 1A and @Tonitoni91 will let you know when I go in on Friday. Still looking forward to meeting you guys altho were all not in the same sections

@Lisha33 no we didn’t do any group work..we did do individual presentations for clinical not sure if that will be the case for you guys since you will be in person..we also did concept maps and drug cards

@Mayon3gg awesome thank you so much for sharing !  I wonder what will happen with whole Covid and delta virus and all that. Did they mention what will happen if Covid gets worst in the Winter ?!

@KayMuckette yes please share my orientation is not until the 23rd which is next Monday
