HEY GUYS! IM STARTING VEEB IN September I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.IS THE PROGRAM VERY INTENSE AND WHERE DO THEY DO CLINICALS?

Math and science are not my strong points so I’m pretty nervous about these upcoming tests LOL. Especially scientific foundations since we haven’t even covered all of the material that will be on the test yet.

@Tonitoni91 I wish I knew the answer to that LOL cause I really don’t know..VEEB is disorganized. It was supposed to be sent august 13th but because some students didn’t have all their clinical hours graduation is sept 24th but (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) doesn’t have a definitive time frame when they will submit our documents ?.My hope is that they are much better with you guys. I can be bad with texting aka mom brain LOL so Ima try to make sure I remember to text you today LOL  @Lisha33 all the quizzes except for the final have 50 questions and you get 1hr to complete the exam I’m not sure if they time frame will be same for you guys since you will be in person. If you guys are online they we had to use this thing called proctario that basically watches you while you take the exams and alerts the instructors if you may be cheating. (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) quizzes in my opinion are straight forward and yes she does definitions. flash cards can help you study for shakers quiz. You will only get fill in the blank if you have to do a makeup quiz so try your best not to miss an exam. Yea we had quizzes around the same time you guys are but the only difference is we had all of our first quizzes in one day called the VEEB special and man what a day that was.

@Lisha33 maybe you can be study buddies with some of your fellow classmates on here. Study groups def help a lot just make sure you study with the right group of people or you will end up wasting your time. My study group def helped me pass vocational adjustments for sure LOL cause I hate math!! And I then I turn helped my friends with the other classes they may have had trouble in. You guys have to lean on each other. Also don’t share grades, I learned this. Just leave it as you passed but if you feel really comfortable sharing you grades with some of your classmates then go ahead. It can get competitive and people get jealous.. why IDK when we are all there for the same reason..all everyone has to do is apply themselves and you will do just fine. If you do the bare minimum then expect the bare minimum with your grades.

@Mayon3gg scientific foundations isn’t too bad it was a breeze for me compared to how it was in college it’s a lot easier for sure. Flash cards help because that class is really just a lot of memorization especially with the positions such as prone, supine, sagittal etc. go to her tutoring sessions and also like I mentioned before form a study group because they really do help. Mrs rose confused me in terms of the math but if you can understand her I’d say def go to her tutoring sessions as well. With Mrs rose class pay attention to the things she says you should know and hint at it being on the test because 10/10 what she says always ends up on the exams.

What exactly are we suppose to study for Lab? She said it’s on module but there are so many things there. Is it SAFETY MODULE under the orientation tab?  @BMP1117 wow I definitely wasn’t expecting 50 questions LOL. I’ll be doing the tutoring for every subject and I’m going to make Flashcards today

@BMP1117 thank you so much for all of your advice on this thread!! I will definitely be attending tutoring regularly, probably for every class, just to make sure I full understand every concept. 

@Lisha33 as far as Lab goes I’m pretty sure she just told us to study the safety module PowerPoint we have been going over in class. There’s also a safety module document that has pretty similar information as the PowerPoint. I’m not sure if we’re supposed to do anything with the universal student/hospital orientation PowerPoint or that study guide thats listed.

@Tonitoni91  @Lisha33 yea 50 LOL for vocational adjustments it can vary tho..sometimes it’s 30-40 questions since it’s mostly math.. @Mayon3gg no problem here to help ? also if you guys haven’t already get yourselves a PLANNER! It will help you keep up with exam dates, hw dates etc..IDK what I would have did if I didn’t..it’s a absolute must!!

Has anyone started the assignment for humam development? If so what chapters are we reading from to get the info? I don't think we went over any of this as I'm looking at the questions.
